It is entertaining but at the same time it could have been better. The step brother, Jae min, I cannot dig him... One minute he is kind and then one minute he is the antagonist. Oh Dae San acting was impressive. Yoona was just okay, nothing spectacular. Now the ending... I wasn't too fond of it.

Awesome plot and acting

This drama was so diverse in characters but they were interwoven in the plot flawlessly. Their attraction was unique in a sense that they were both broken people (which they did not over-mask unlike other dramas). The acting was superb, you can see their angst in their crying, you can see when they are mad but trying to hide and put a smile on their face, you can see the deep pain, the frustration, etc... It is a sweet, honest love story that also reflected that time in history.... It provided just enough suspense and hope (in the ending) but it made sense.

No way! I dropped this and then I picked it up again after a few months. I am so glad I did. It was a very good story, with very good actors/actresses. Man, the crying, the pain, ouch, I can feel all of it.

The 20 episodes was just right. And the ending, they wrapped it up pretty nicely. No loose ends and no abrupt ending...

So I am a happy drama watcher. Totally satisfied. =)

I love JKS that's why I watched this. The story was not so great (not the fault of the actors it is based on a manga after all). So keep this in mind when watching it (IU's devotion to main character was just impossible). JKS has great acting skills. The romance factor was okay. I like him and the story much better in You're Beautiful, Love Rain and Mary Stayed Out All Night.

It is what it is (the plot)... The main actor's acting was amazing, the leading lady did well too, sometimes I felt that the crying kinda dragged a bit. This drama is a bit on the sad part... That's why I did not give it a really high score. I like my dramas, happy not so heavy. There is too much of it in the world already.

I can't re-watch this because of the heavy plot. It makes my heart heavy. But overall, this drama nailed it.

The story is quite your typical rich, poor, evil rich, love triangle story. At the start it was kinda amusing, but later on, I just did not like it as much as in the beginning. Just skip this and watch something better.

It started out strong, but then it just died out, most of the episodes, the lead actress was just a walking "moper". The same sad face, over and over again. Bottom line, skip it and watch a better drama.

I finished the drama and I did not like it. I just did not like that the men here are so egotistic and prideful and yet will bow down to a rich lady. I wanted to give it a chance because of good reviews and the romance between Kim Do Jin and Seo Yi Soo. Oh and episode 19 does the corniest stuff... sooo there is a better drama out there than wasting your 20 hours...

This was fun and light to watch... The actors/actresses were great and none of this "high school" type romance. I am glad it was just 16 episodes because if they made it longer, the character's deliberate martyr attitude would have driven me nuts. The lead actors shift from angry to sweet was amazing, he did it flawlessly. The comedy part did make me laugh and was not over-kill. Over-all this is an easy watch Rom-Com drama, the ending was kinda swift, I would have loved to have seen more, but it will suffice.

This would get you out of your slump drama. The plot just unfolded perfectly and at the end, the drama was wrapped up and explained in a timely manner. The twist was just right, there were flashbacks but it wasn't repetitive. The friendship, the love, the comedy, the angst, the character development was just perfectly combined/written --- so YES WATCH IT! There was no single episode that was wasted - no episode was boring (that's rare in drama watching!)

I love the realistic hugs (compared to the awkward hugs Kdramas usually have) here and feelings... and how the guy just finally gave in and admitted he loved her with such honesty. The plot was good, but I am not really fond of ghost stuff so that is why I only gave it a 7.5. It kinda gave me the creeps, so I am not re-watching this.

Story was awesome, you will never know what will happen next and will want to watch the next episode fast...

Acting: Yes, they can definitely act... I could feel the angst, and the King's smile, will just melt your heart.

Rewatch Value: well, I won't it is just that I like watching over and over again happy and light dramas, this drama is full of heavy emotions.

I would have rated it higher IF I liked the ending. I am just a sucker of "happy" endings. So, it is worth the watch and painful too (well it was tragic...) so many tragedies in one drama...

FLUFFY - one word to describe it for me... The romance is realistic, yes they get to hug & kiss unlike other romance drama, they kiss at the end or not even hold hands... This drama was "easy" to watch, not too heavy in the heart... Light and enjoyable. The story is not new but it entertained me.

It is the typical rich / poor romance... It was entertaining and the characters grow on you, especially He Mike and Chang Janine. I have never seen a drama of He Mike and now I became a fan. I mostly watch Kdramas since my limit is 16-20 episodes, otherwise I feel like it is a drag. So the pace of this drama is sometimes slow... There was "too" much drama about their love relationship that sometimes you just want to tell them to JUST SAY IT and enjoy the mutual love (I guess it won't be a drama if it did not have all that) I just wish it wasn't 25 episodes but I finished it, I won't rewatch this because of it. Autumn Concerto was better story than this... but again He Mike is eye candy.

It kept me on my toes. This was a heavy drama, allot of crying - the acting was superb. But a drama is a drama, I mean the bad things just kept happenning to Kang Yoo Jung was just allot - thus the crying but she did a very good job. i am glad it is only 16 eps. They did not drag it. It is worth the while.
