(I followed Seo Inguk's works for more than decades and although not her fan I knew Ji Soo since her pre debut era, so I tried to be objective)

I kinda agree with you about the plot, although I like the genre, 90's vibes, and the actor but the story feels repetitive and exhausting at some point. I was struggling while watching especially in early episodes.

If you wanna know whole Yumi's love journey you should watch all trilogy, it's still okay if only watch this season but the feeling will be different (lacking)

He taken The Smile has Left Your Eyes, Pipeline (movie), Doom at Your Service, Project Wolf Hunting (Movie), Cafe Minamdang, Death's Game, Twelve, Boy (Movie), Boyfriend on Demand, and See You at work Tomorrow after joined the agency, actually each of his project and character is different but people keep seeing the simialirities rather than the difference. The problem is the quality of project, unfortunately most of them are only average (although has big budget production, star studded cast, massive marketing, or got high popularity) compare to his potential ability.

Also I'm glad See You at Work Tomorrow also doing well among international viewers and placed high rank on its global OTT platform, and according several data the drama's popularity keep rising in South Korea too.

I got your points and fully understand but my pov specially for younger generations (kdrama newbies, gen z or even alpha) and wider or casual audiences (non k-drama fans) not for long time k-drama watcher like us.

But honestly Kang Tae Joo character must through all the things toward the end and how he handle it kinda exhausting for me😩

In manhwa, it should be 7-12 years gap I think, Ji Yoon is 30 and Si Woo expected in his end of 30 or early 40

It could be one of my favorite criminal thriller this year, remind me a lot of dramas that I used to watch several years ago. Also the duo, Park Hae Soo & Lee Hee Jun never dissapoint.

The source material (manhwa) is good but I feel the scriptwriter made even better, it's more enjoyable to watch

He's one of most versatiles actor who already tried many diverse character and different genre then these times suddenly he got three consecutives office theme drama. Now, people who doesn't know him well or kdrama newbie think that he's typecasting actor.
