Same here. Lately, C-dramas have been hitting differently for me. The storytelling, slow-burn romance, and character development have kept me hooked more than recent K-drama.

Even if Tu Li interpreted 'mei mei' as a younger relative, that's from her perspective. It doesn't automatically mean the leads saw each other as brother and sister.
