I just purchased quarterly subscription just because of WDBDT when it was airing so I have to use youku so I can say to myself that what I paid for was worth it 😅

This is just opinion and everyone can have their own preference
I can say that WDBTD is really my stress reliever. I'll come back again and again here if I am dying of frustration to my current drama hahaha

WDBTD pros
➡️there's no unnecessary misunderstandings or if there is any it does not drag, romance is top tier, skinship, simple face makeups, ML and FL does not hate each other, side characters has little screentime, blood spitting is not every ep 😅, leads visual, modern vocabs, peaceful fans (I'll edit this if I think of something more to add)
Other Xianxia pros
➡️ plot is engaging because of plot twists, background stories, costumes and makeups are top tier, CGI and xianxia elements does not stop at the first half (unlike WDBTD), OSTs ( to be fair I only knew the OST of WDBTD because I watch it repeatedly), villains that are villaining, script writing, world building where it does not only focus with the 2 main leads, ('ll edit this if I think of something more to add), fan discussions (WDBTD is so peaceful that there are few dedicated fans 💔)

For me I can't see her as a school girl when I watch this. It's because my first drama with her was I am Nobody
She is really cool there and funny 🤣
She seems healthy which is different from here
From what I've been seeing with some of her vids she seems the type to easily gain and lose weight because when I saw her promotion last January for IAN S2 she is really not skinny
She seems busy all year round because her dramas are simultaneously airing this year and she keeps on filming one drama/movie after another

Liao Tingyan's character has no ambition
When I read the novel I was surprised that it was adapted as drama with big budget because the plot seems not the type for it so I understand when some people may find it mediocre but the romance for this is top notch
It's the only thing that makes me come back again and again 😭💞

They just have a spiritual bond in the soul manor
If you watch it further there would be an ep that you will be enlightened when they first did it 😂

It is my first drama with her so when I watch this I did not expect her acting romantically 😂
It is an action series though and she is really different there. She is an emotionless person but she is funny as hell
I realize she has great acting range.
Another drama for her is Twelve Letters (depressing so I didn't finish but it is good that my heart aches for her 😭)
