I wonder how many period dramas are going to come out of China each year. No wonder my Chinese friend have switched to watching dramas from other Asian countries like Korea and the Philippines.

I hope MBC company makes season 2 because it is such a good drama. They will have to considering the success it has been so far. We have yet to see the drama unfold for Yoo Bo Na 's sister-in-law and her boyfriend.
I decided to try My AI Partner: Strange Love because the premise seemed completely unique for a dating show. It starts a bit slow, but it gets better and better as it goes on. It is incredibly fascinating to see how the participants get attached to their AI partners. The entire time, it felt like watching Spike Jonze’s movie Her, which was way ahead of its time. I love this show and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different!

Like most fans, I would love to see Yeo Jin-goo and Kim Yoo-jung take on those roles again, specifically for the adult timeline. I absolutely loved this drama; it holds a special place for me as one of the very first Korean dramas I ever watched.

This drama should have been one of the very best, but it lost its momentum once the story moved into the future. The narrative was incredibly interesting while it stayed in the past, and it honestly should have remained there. Once the characters enter the modern world, the plot becomes somewhat all over the place, bogged down by hit-or-miss comedy. The one element that deserves full marks, however, is the brilliant soundtrack, which is an absolute 10/10.

Why are you still watching Korean dramas? You must be watching something else. If you just like Chinese dramas then keep on watching them for your enjoyment but other people have variety of taste . Globally people just enjoy Korean more and that is a fact.

Around this time 2025, I did not watch any dramas until I clicked on a Chinese period drama. After that I happen to see a picture of 'My Demon' and thought it would be interesting and it was. Since then I have loved good Korean dramas and music. Now I am learning Korean from next week as I do not want to rely on subtitles in English.

Hard-hitting shows like Squid Game or The Glory tackle deep societal issues, which is why global data shows Korean dramas heavily dominate international viewership. Also, Chinese dramas actually face much stricter creative restrictions and censorship than Korean ones. There is room for both entertainment and education in TV, and global audiences simply prefer the variety Korea offers.
