he a bit obnoxious and weird but everything he did was to make his childhood friend remember him (he’s too prideful to come clean at once i suppose) he’s annoyed that he doesn’t remember him but he still helps the team out (later they will have to take an exam and will almost get caught cheating (they’re not really but kinda) and he picks up the cheat sheet and deletes the camera footage for them so they don’t get caught

okay i read through some chapters in the novel and the little puzzles and trinkets that the kids found (+the box found at the photographer’s store) we’re all out there by prof qian and it was an idea of the first coach the kids had, he unfortunately died but his son (the guy we see picking up pictures) organised everything so the team could come alive again SO THEYRE NOT EVIL. I’m still very confused about spade q and victor lee (the coach that changed teams 3 times), someone told me that space q in the novel is wanxing professor that was a bad person (disgusting pig) and had an agenda against her (i dunno how this would work since he would need to know jason as well) BUT they changed that in the drama so i’m lost

yeah and i’m questioning her character, she’s not in her right might selling a house just to cut contact, especially since she didn’t have anywhere to go right after selling (which is why she asked for more days). They were not married btw and agreed on her paying back slowly so yeah it was stupid to sell the house, can’t change my mind

yeah but objectively it was a stupid plot point, they really rushed the last few episodes with stupid ideas, they should’ve kept the original flow of the drama and not forced weird tropes into it

i know that, i’m saying if he needed money quick he should’ve just asked for a loan, she owed him 30k after everything she repaid in earlier episodes, she was just being extra selling her 500k house to give him that 30k back while the most reasonable thing would’ve been asking for a loan since he knew she didn’t have 30k laying around

i really enjoyed this but who in their right might would sell their house for their ex bf BRUHHHHH he should’ve just asked for a loan bruh he literally works as some time of financial advisor he surely has good credit for that😭
+ i feel like the angst was BADLY written, it literally brought the overall rating of the drama down, but i still finished it!! by ep 34 everything goes back to normal

girl i feel like you’re not getting the plot, this is not a plot hole at all, it was all calculated and deliberate. You said he should’ve stormed with the edict but it doesn’t work that way😭😭😭 the emperor died, the crown prince and his family was killed, the empress dowager faction had the most amount of power at court and Marquis Muyang was killing people left and right. That’s NOT how u act to save yourself, you can’t just storm wherever you want especially if you have ZERO allies there (EVERYONE was at war). Waiting for Duke Hua was the only reasonable thing to do cuz Duke Hua actually had and still has the power to accept an edict, as i already said, if he just barged in with the edict in plain sight with no one to testify they could’ve just said the edict was fake, as there was no one with AUTHORITY to vouch for him. It’s not a plot hole at all, u just have to understand politics a bit better, since these things happened irl and not just in dramas u have to understand that lives are at stake. Plus he trusted FL’s mother not because she was the empress dowager’s friend (maybe he didn’t even know that) but because she was Headmaster Xu’s daughter (if u don’t know Headmaster Xu and Duke Hua had the highest level of authority in court as seniors)

ahaha they got killed exactly cuz they were NOT acting under the orders of the emperor for them. I said the army belongs to the emperor and only the emperor could summon them, if they came without an edict (which they had but was not presented and then destroyed) that would’ve meant they were trying to rebel. Second they have loyal armies cuz they’re comrades but that doesn’t mean the army and the general leading can do whatever it wants, for example if you’ve seen blossom, the army wasn’t allowed back in the capital and if they did that would’ve been considered rebellion. He could’ve not acted for Mo Jingli 1. because he wasn’t even in the capital as he was sent to lishan 2. there was a rebellion happening and news weren’t like now 3. he didn’t wanna be labelled as a traitor going against protocol. I don’t think he was naive at all, he was just a victim of stronger

Basically he needed someone loyal to the crown and with a good reputation to come and state that the edict was real, if he carelessly showed the edict in public they could’ve easily destroyed it without anyone actually proving that it was real yk. About him having ‘his army’, that is simply not true, he was only a general, the army was not his, the army belongs to the emperor and he cannot just storm in the palace or wherever stating that he has the right to do so, cuz u can only command the army under the emperors order. I’ve watched so many dramas with generals so i got the gist of it. Plus as soldiers it’s about honour as well, they preferred waiting for trial rather than fighting their way in. If myx’s brother just waited for duke hua to arrive he would’ve not died (they would’ve not killed a general and his army if he was staying he had proof, let’s remember that this is a monarchy but without people’s consensus a king is nothing)

to be fair he didn’t have a romantic relationship with the empress dowager, he just admired her e dedicated her poetry, so she used this opportunity to use him to control consort dowager. When he realised he was only a pawn he tipped consort off telling her to keep something against the empress dowager (the edict)

im on ep 6 and i got spoiled about everything that happened😭 watching all these people from lishan academy being introduced knowing that they’re all dead is so sad😭😭 i wish i didn’t spoil myself bruhh

i believe she kinda went in a limbo like seori was when she saved both her and the prince. Probably cuz Seori was sent in her own OG body in modern era but dansim’s body was poisoned and in a coma. I believe seori had to go back to save both then prince (and segye) but dansim as well!!

fr i wish they could’ve explain a bit better where she went after seori was poisoned in joseon era, like didn’t she miss her grandma at all? she was the one who took care of her while seori was in the past and she was living modern era

yeah, those two are the ones that actually were meant to be as they were both actually from joseon!

i know they’re not siblings fr BUT they were raised as siblings, he particularly said ‘i know you’re not my real sister’ why should he need to specify that if they didn’t grow as actual adopted siblings?

ahhh binged it in 1 day and i’m missing them already, it’s such a nice comfort drama with just enough of everything! loved the ending segment, normally they would’ve ended that with the crown dissolution and huiju inheriting everything but the mundane life segment was great!!!
