How did THAT get past the censors? Was it filmed outside China?
You’ve got the wrong idea. BL dramas can be filmed in mainland China. For example, Revenged Love was shot in Wuxi,China. They’re just not allowed to air within mainland China.
well every new cbl dramas coming out were filmed outside of china, that's how they managed.

This is originally a Chinese drama, the country option on MDL is a total joke, and there’s been no response…
That's because they wanted to use an overseas distributor to bypass censorship, but this drama is entirely Chinese mainland in every aspect: its filming location (Qingdao, Shandong), original work, director, production crew, cast, and even the production company are all from Chinese mainland.
update: i tried to do some research but i cannot find anything about "hong kong". on every website it…
What I mean is that the division between countries and regions is quite ridiculous. The website reviewers and information submitters used the materials without clarifying the situation.

I can only say that both the information providers and the website reviewers are a joke; I’m truly at my wit’s end. Chinese people publish overseas to evade censorship—what is the purpose of these websites providing such materials?
I'm really curious about the criteria for determining the "country" category on MDL. If Sammy's Children's Day can barely be classified as a Hong Kong drama just because it has Hong Kong elements in its setting and its distributor Eastone is a nominal Hong Kong company (which is actually just a shell company)—even though the end credits clearly show it's a 100% mainland Chinese production, with no connection to Hong Kong whatsoever in terms of production team, cast, or post-production—then how on earth was Feel What You Feel categorized as a Hong Kong drama? Its production companies are "Beijing Changchang Xinghan" and "Guanghe Yekai", and the director and cast are all from mainland China. Does that mean any mainland Chinese drama that airs in Hong Kong automatically becomes a Hong Kong drama, and one that airs in Taiwan becomes a Taiwanese drama?

og lang is Chinese or Cantonese?? i havent started yet 😥.. Is it Cantonese dubbed?
The actors spoke Mandarin during filming, but for unknown reasons, the copyright holder decided to fully dub the final version in Cantonese. Only the Cantonese version is available right now.
Thank you for the info. So, is it true that if a production is distributed in Hong Kong, even perhaps Macau, then…
Yes, at least for now. Since there is no official platform in mainland China that has licensed this drama, the National Radio and Television Administration of China cannot regulate it.
Who on earth changed the region of this show to Hong Kong?Another know-it-all idiot. I’m really fed up. First,…
Could someone with editing privileges please submit a request to correct the country/region of this show back to the right one? ABO Desire was also wrongly labeled as Taiwan by some idiot for a while, but it got fixed later.
