This was refreshing to watch. Finally a kdrama that combines most of my favorite genres into one and actually does a good job. Most recent kdramas have been disappointing. I laughed so hard every episode, it brought me so much joy ngl LMAO. Binge watched all 8 episodes in 24 hours without even reading the summary first, only to find that now I'm another one of the crowd waiting 5 days for another episode. Like Seo Ri Says, that means I'm a Fan :/
Lmao they dragged it so much as if they knew if they revealed the main suspect earlier then I would drop it. The plot was holding on for dear life till the very last minute. It's probably the first kdrama I finished without dropping this year thanks to them hiding the culprit in plain sight. I can confidently say, I hatingly enjoyed it but glad its over.
Haven't touched my MDL list in more than a year but the cringe from this kdrama ragebaited me into coming here…
His mom that he supposedly loves so much and hates his father for cheating on her which is the reason she attempted to unalive herself before. Meanwhile he's drolling over a "married" woman, trying to get her to cheat. "I'm not a good person" and proceeds to take her hand away from her "husband," am I supposed to call that romantic? What a cringe fest.
Yeah she isn't technically married for real, but he doesn't know that. Trying to get in her pants while believing she's married. And taking her hand away from her "husband" in episode 7 was my last straw. If the message from this story is "like father like son, men are all the same" then good job, I'm out.
Haven't touched my MDL list in more than a year but the cringe from this kdrama ragebaited me into coming here to vent. Wth is wrong with kdramas lately? Same boring mundane storyline and add some cringe melodramatic scenes every damn episodes, he literally has to "save" her from the most mundane shit everyday. Tried to tolerate it and ignore all lack of logic but episode 7 sent me
I woke up thinking I'll be roasted for having a different opinion last night, but was surprised by how calm it was, or maybe I just chose peace this morning. xD
Let's keep comment section cutesy and demure. No need to attack each other for having different perspectives. Yall are doing good (:
Maybe I'm blind but idk what's Korea's obsession with Hyo Jin exactly. Her dramas always portray her as mature…
Also another thing that pissed me off was the hypocrisy.. they literally killed a poor mouse for a scene just to shoot male lead "performing" surgery to save a mouse that they killed for a scene, then replace it with a live mouse. The irony, killing a live mouse to "save it." That whole scene made me so uncomfortable.
Maybe I'm blind but idk what's Korea's obsession with Hyo Jin exactly. Her dramas always portray her as mature with strong sex appeal, sex appeal is alwaysss the center of her portrayal in almost all kdramas I watched of her.
Also she's a decently attractive woman, but to think male lead would immediately be drawn to Hyo Jin as soon as he saw her and "forget" about Ji Eun, I would just be lying and gaslighting myself. Sure his character is supposedly not truly in love with Ji Eun but I'm also not blind.
This whole thing felt awkward from the beginning, especially his random toe fetish.
Edit: I expected to get a lot of hate in the comments, but I'm surprised that I didn't even bother to read past 2 responses. Think I'm healed xD surprised by how calm it is, usually I get roasted if I have a different opinion lmao. We're getting better guys, let's keep it up!
Only read multiple users projecting that I'm a "hater," bc its something they would do- finding things to intentionally hate on.
*gets kidnapped, steals kidnapper's phone to have marriage counselling with ML*
Soobin: "why didn't you pick her? love her? choose her?"
Soobin after the accident when ML found out she's the caller: oh... so you still pick me, choose me, love me... even after you know I'm the caller?? u.u *gives ML back hug*
*Soobin continues to find more evidence that ML has always been there for her*
Soobin: So you picked me, loved me, chose me... from so long agooo????? *fills house with candles to create a romantic scene* "I can't believe you picked me, loved me, chose me," now let's be a real married couple *jumps on ML for some hulk twa*
ok bye lmaoo xD
(I cringed so hard watching it that I got physical pins and needles but still wanted to finish it, have non else to watch)
I literally finished everything that I was binge watching last week, now I only have this and "The Ultimatum" and have to wait a whole week for both shows, they air at the same time...
