You can try dividing the total number of episodes by the number of episodes you plan to watch in a day- this will tell you in how many days you'll catch up but I'm sure it'll take a long time, no need to rush-just enjoy it at your pace
I think what running man lacks most are the funny openings. They used to be so iconic. Really don't know why they…
Its okay if you don't watch all episodes bc some episodes are mostly like a quiz/talk show, its totally fine to watch random episodes that interest you (I suggest putting a check next to the episodes you watch so you don't get lost). There's an app that lets you track tv shows you're watching and it had titles for each running man episode and a summary of what the episode is about.
Thank you for the episodes' number, its been ages since I watched them so it'll probably feel like the first time again when I rewatch them
If you haven't already, I suggest you watch the first episode of running man, its one of my favorites. Also there's a variety game show that is very similar to the first episode of running man called Prison Life of Fools, I think you'll like it because the permanent members are a mix of idols (including JB from Got7), actors, and comedians, they also have a lot of idols as guests

Hmm I don't remember an episode with Taemin and Amber who I both love. After all these episodes, my memories of Running man became fragments where I only remember my favorite parts the most lol.
You just gave me the idea to rewatch it, I bet it'll be as fun as the first time
You know that the main couple's relationship is gonna be 99% sex 1 percent plot when you see the TharnType and…
I'm not saying either of them copied the other, I just pointed it out bc I found it cool that they carried out a similar theme in both since these series are all from the same universe, so I wouldn't think of it as "this copied that"

Yeah I also think it would be amazing if they start bringing the older generation of kpop idols on Running man. There was a game/variety show that aired for a while called the Flower Crew, it included members of one of the oldest kpop idol groups called Sech Skies who made a comeback at that time around a decade after their debut, it was my favorite show at that time but sadly they stopped it in 2017, it felt like a mix of 2 days 1 night and running man but better.
I agree that the older generation of korean idols are usually more popular, I still mostly listen to my korean idol groups from the early 2005-ish even if they all became solo. I'm addicted to Yonghwa's voice whther he's singing solo or with his group CNBLUE. And still a fan of Jay Park even after he left 2PM. I hardly listen to new kpop groups besides Stray Kids.

I also miss having Yonghwa on Running man, they usd to bring him often in the early days that I thought he might become a member but suddenly they stopped inviting him in recent years, he was so funny and good at the games, I realized his athletic and curious side after I saw him on Running man and it made me so happy. Three members already left and Running man and the efforts of directing the episodes seem to decline, maybe bc Running man is so popular now that they don't think its necessary to keep doing entertaining themed episodes. I don't think it'll go back to the way it started either, sadly
I saw it in an article that included it in a list of kdramas adapted from mangas, but they didn't say which manga for this one. If it really wasn't adapted from a manga then they might have mistaken the vagabond manga to be the same plot as this bc they share the same title
This drama started out with a very good potential that I started to have high expectations for it but it ended up feeling very unsatisfactory and disappointing.
From the beginning till the very end it felt like a one sided love from Bbomb for Jin, even when the plot was telling us they're now in a relationship and Jin loves him back but I didn't see it. Jin had more chemistry with Aim than with Bbomb which just shows how straight he is that he can't even act the gay character he signed up for right. I ended up feeling very awkward watching them on screen, it felt like Bbomb loved him for real, love was always flowing from his eyes. While Jin's acting made it seem like he cant bear to even look at Bbomb or ever starts physical contact first, it was always Bbomb giving him all those heart-wrenching backhugs.
How did Jin finally "display" some love back to Bbomb? send him a relationship status request on Facebook, hand him a teddy bear from 3 feet away, and put hand in hand. I'm not asking for a kiss, but at least a hug?? not even a hug at the end? His ex gf Aim gets a hug but not Bbomb that kept getting hurt while chasing after Jin who doesn't seem to have any physical attraction to him at all?
And what's up with Keam?? he's always acting weird like he's in love with all the boys around him and gets jealous whenever he sees any male couple around him, the reason for this was NEVER explained
In every episode they have the whole screen time of their big ass "gang" of 20 or something friends hanging out and having gatherings one after the other while the main couple have 5 minutes total screen time together broken in one minute segment each.
And here I thought that their little relationship progress was happening naturally then they zoom onto the gang of friends saying "our plan succeeded" lmao what plan succeeded? what did you even do?
Well.. what a disappointment.
It felt like watching a one sided love till the very end even when they got together
I give up on the false hope that Runningman will ever going back to the way it started as, now its a "Mafia/quiz game Man" instead. Finally dropping it at ep 591, and my rating went down from 10 to 8.
(The only reason I've been patiently watching till now is my loyalty from all those years)
At ep 14, only reason I gave this such a long chance was bc it's dubbed in Arabic but that's it. After this "loveless marriage on paper" and ML still being cold, mean, hurting FL for no reason. I'm out, dropping this shit

If you don't know the manga, don't reply

Thank you for this amazing big list, I'll start getting into it after I finish the drama I'm currently watching
