ONLY WATCH THIS DRAMA IS YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WATCH , UNLESS you like watch revenge on repeat and 綠茶婊.....

I honestly didnt like the story line. The backstory is the male lead is a rich CEO. The female lead is a poor girl who is a a tour guide. As you know they fall in love . The cliche parts come where he is secretly engaged to a rich girl. The main lead didnt find out , until the engagement and questions him. He however locks her into a closet and the house catches fire.
She gets burned and the rich girl's beset friend. This gives a chance for the female lead to take on a complete new identity. Fast forwards three years have past .....

The female lead comes back to take revenge on what the male lead has done to her in the past. The female lead also has an autistic younger brother. The female lead opens a fashion/fabric corporation and often competing with the male lead. The male lead eventually recognizes her and tries to pursue her again.. However I felt they got back together way too quickly and there was that much hatred from the female lead to the male lead for causing her to gets burns and having to recover from them.

Not to mention not being able to stand the side characters 1) the evil and conniving cousin of the male lead. Trying all he can to get the company and doing all things evil, trying to get the rich girl to be with him 2) the spoiled brat the rich girl aka 綠茶婊... She gets introduce towards the end, and I kind of find her really scary and almost pyschopathic... Trying to come up with all kinds of excuses and ways to be with the main lead.

Also I got sooooooo tired of the main leads being together , then break up, then being together and then breaking up....ummmm........

One of the only characters I liked died so illogically???i felt that part was pretty stupid and kind of sudden, didnt really fit in. Female Lead's brother was actually really kind and sweet.... but he had to die..

On the other hand, i really like the female lead's sense of style. It was impeccable through out. Omg she has such nice shoulder bones. She acted as a cool/cold character pretty well... The male lead( in my opinion is not handsome enough)

cutest bickering contract couple ever!!!

I can't emphasize how 24 episodes is the perfect amount of episodes!! This drama is totally worth your time. Although is kinda cliche. Male and female get into a contract relationship, from bickering couple they fall in love.

Male lead- a idol/star. In the summary it said he is childish, but i don't really get that vibe , lol only when he is with the female lead.
Female lead- is a tone deaf , but wants to fulfill her dream of writing music/composing.

They get into this contracted marriage because to minimize the gossip of the male lead because he is a star while the female lead wants to keep her house because its from her late dad.

Their chemistry is really really good, its off the charts. They are such a cute bickering couple definitely cute moments together. This was one drama that didn't have as much kissing scenes , but which i felt they being together is cute and sweet enough. They had a lot of scenes actually together like spending time and you can see their relationship develops.

She also helps male lead to resolve the issue between him and his dad.

Although she has a friend who , who did something messed up like wth ? why would she do something like that, her character is bearable.. and doesn't become worst. Another evil character later but it doesn't take away from the show.

This drama is definitely better than count your lucky star!!! You won't be disappointed.

狗血!! Revenge! scheming drama

I can't believe i finished watching is. The chinese website i watched it on said 38 episodes but other places said 40 episodes is the end?

Ya'll after watching this drama you need to breathe!!! OMG SO FREAKIN FRUSTRATING!!!WANT TO SCREAM and hit THE Beeps.... in the drama! It felt like i watched like 60 episodes. so much hatred. revenge, evil, scheming, bullying . take advantage of. This is one negative drama, its like torture on the female lead.

Like where do i begin?
Female lead is a super sweet, but takes everything in kinda girl, she is appreciative for the Li's corporation CEO for helping her get through school and into the fashion industry. She is also know as the shadow designer. Li's CEO has a daughter who basically grew up with the female lead. She is also known as a deisgner, but its just all her name. She cant design and has never designed, only using the female lead's design. Other people in the company dont know and think she is just a cleaning lady ( super sad right?)
Male lead is the son of the Chao fashion corp. Chao and Li are competitors.

The back story of why they are competitors... While Li was young, she knew Chao's wife. Chao's wife was in charge of a warehouse that caused fire and killed people and losing the clothes they made. Long story short, turns out it was Li who was behind it, causing Chao's wife to commit suicide because she couldnt pay back the workers. At that time the Chao's had a baby boy. Chao ended up losing contact with the family that took care of his son. Chao swore to take revenge for his dead wife and his lost son.

Fast Forward... So the male lead is the adoptive son of the Chao's and Chao made the male lead to thinking it was the Li's who was responsible for the death of this parents and also his missing sister too . Turns out it was Chao who locked his sister up and was trying to use the male lead to help him knock down the Li's.

I feel so bad for the female lead, she literally had to go through so much shit!!! Like first, thinking the Li's is a benefactor but it was just that so they could use the female lead's designer and let the Li daughter call it her own. I didnt understand why the daughter is not named after her. lol her daughter is named Tang Guo er.
2) the person she loved had to marriage her best friend.... and she just let it go like that.
3) Losing her child and her mother's also suicide. so much hurt is done to her..if i were her i would go crazy already... ( which later towards the end she was hospitalized for..
4) having her designed copied by another person ( who was someone she trusted that betrayed her)

Her daughter is such a despicable character, so rude, selfish, arrogant, spoiled full of her self !!! Literally wanna say all the swear words at her . She is a true bitch !!! Like she and the female lead were suppose to be best of friends.

In dramas I always love the male lead but this drama I hated him ! He went for his own interest in the sense that he just followed the orders of his adoptive dad. He loved the female lead but it was so limited. Like which side are you on? He even sided with the evil best friend, when he found out that the Li's was not the culprit behind his parents suicide. He was never really there for her and didnt support her enough...

Sorry this is more of a rant than a review haha!

watch at your own risk if you like revenge, scheme, bullying, torment ....

Wife revenge on cheating husband

This drama starts off with the female lead about to commit suicide by standing on the ledge. Its later on revealed that her husband is having an affair with her sister. The husband is a cheater and is lying to the wife to try to get their company for himself. However the female lead goes back into the past with her current memory and attempts to take revenge on all who have done her wrong.

I hate the character of the female lead sister and the husband... They get on screen time but not too much.

This drama has basically none romance involved. The male lead does help the female lead out by getting her company back. The male lead and female lead met like 5 years ago. He is opposing company ceo.

It is not worth your watch. I watched it without subs .

Never thought about falling deeply in love with you? plus complicated revenge story?

To be honest wasnt quite sure what to expect of the drama before watching it. I saw some reviews that said it was bad, but after I have watched it, overall was good but towards the end I would skip. I almost contemplating dropping it towards 36 ep because it started not to make sense... but the overall drama is acceptable. Although this drama has some traces of revenge , it wasnt the main factor/drive behind the story, a good chunk was about their job and being a financial headhunter, that make the story more breathable, but towards the end they kinda stretched the story a little too much.

Male lead is Gao Shan. He is in the financial business. He has a complicated past. His father committed suicide from having not enough money to pay the people in his warehouse( i think he also went bankrupt) Gao Shan saw his father's suicide and his mother became mentally unstable. He completes to find a job in the financial industry, more over he wants to investigate what actually happened to his father. He meets the female lead Lin Wo, she is a financial headhunter. Their jobs are to find the perfect candidate to fit the financial job opening offered by the company. Lin Wo is smart, confident. Initally Gao Shan doesnt know that Lin Wo was the suspected person that was responsible for his father's suicide. Of course Lin Wo and Gao Shan fall in love. After he finds out about her identity, he attempts to break up with her.

He eventually gives up his revenge for her which I find sweet. I mean love can overcome hatred!!!But then the story gets weird and introduces to a character named Bei xiao rong. He was someone that Lin Wo took care of when he was younger. He use to have autism when he was younger... This character is introduced at a bad time and the introduction of his just makes the rest of the drama unbearable... He also complicates things and does things to ruin the relationship between the leads.... just because he likes her...

As for the romance between the lead, I felt they had a decent chemistry/passion. Although I wasnt the biggest fan of all their " punch kisses" ( lol term I made up) All their kisses were so forceful, like they plant the kiss in their face with force like punching someone lol. Can't they just be gentle?

Can we talk about the choice of clothing for the female lead? some formal outfits were so opened and low cut? ( something we dont really seem much in Chinese dramas)

Im so glad it wasnt just revenge driven or else it would be a very negative drama....It honestly did better than I expected.

Sweetest mini drama of time traveling prince to the modern day !

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! This drama was a mini drama with each ep being about 12 mins, and a total of 18 episodes. This is how you do a drama! this drama was so cute, drama free, good chemistry between the leads!

At first glance the male lead isn't very handsome but he kinda grows on you :) Male lead is a prince from the ancient times. He faces his brother trying to kill him. He somehow transports to the modern day through a notebook he has. He transports and meets the female lead who is a manager to celebrities. She is in a need of a new one to star in a drama and he's the perfect fit!. on the other hand there is the second lead who is the female lead's boss. She some how writes in the prince''s notebook that she wants to fall in love and she finds herself in a bed with the boss. So its basically a love triangle lol. Of course she and the male lead live with each other and she teaches him the things in the modern world ( cliche lol ) They slowly fall in love.

This mini drama is well done in the fact that the leads has INCREDIBLE AMOUNT of chemistry and passion! man some steamy kisses and a lot of it! for such a short drama

Nothing too dramatic in the sense of revenge, schemes etc( I mean eventually the prince's brother also transports but its acceptable because that isnt the main focus)

It focused on one aspect, which was developing their relationship!

The songs are cute!

Definitely would recommend!!

This drama seem promising. I would say for the most part it was an enjoyable drama but lacking . It mainly focuses on the female lead trying to become a chef. While she is trying to pick the ingredient she needs she falls and of course the male lead catches her. Their love story is pretty smooth as she like him and he likes her. The male lead is kind of like a body guard/protector of values being transported.
The food she cooks looks so good but thats totally not her cooking because it resemble male hands ( during some of the closeup shots of her cooking the food)
The storyline goes pretty smooth and their isnt too many bumps. We are introduced to a girl that likes the main lead but that storyline doesnt really go anyway. The female lead along her way of opening a restaurant meets other chef and other people she takes as apprentice, teaching them to be a better cook.

Too much going on!!

Argh, this drama was initially quite good! Had a lot of hilarious moments but as the drama went on it was kinda boring and illogical, Like come on......
1) How could the male lead hide his identity without the female lead knowing? isnt there something called the internet ? to find out who she had an arranged marriage to? like is she super naive or super dumb ( no offense) for not figuring out.
2) cliche aspect- she is the twin of her sister and she replaces her sister to have an arranged family marriage......
3) Her sister is in love with the male lead's older brother. The Wen family grandpa does not like the other brother, hence her twin sis and the older brother cant be together. So forced marriage to the younger brother aka male lead...
4) The wen family doesnt know she has a twin sister...

The lead's have some much ups and down in their relationship, one moment they like each other, the next they have a miscommunication, the next they are lovey dovey , the next they are arguing or mad at each other.

Come on.... can the storyline be developed better.

I like the female lead's sunny personality , but don like the fact she is kinda too gullible and naive.

Cliche story of a damsel in distress

Thank God these ep were like 3 mins long. The story wasnt too draggy and pretty fast pace. Loved the romance part but would skip the dog blood part. Your typical poor innocent female lead who finds out her fiance has cheated on her with her sister.
The evil younger sister. The idiotic ex boyfriend, the possessive male lead, more annoying side characters.

The storyline was pretty predictable and i was surprised there was more than just one bad guy/obstacle in the lead's relationship. I liked the lead because even though she appeared weak / being bullied she stood up to her sister and was bracve about.

A little unnecessary that the male lead ex came back to find him, and on top of that , the male lead's sister trying to prevent the leads from being together. Not to mention that there was the third male lead who was in love with the male lead's ex. So basically sabotage, and seperation , and then car accident, not to mention she found out she was pregnant at the end.

Wish they finished the end better and was more rounded, like they would reunite with a better scene, then just casually running into their son.

The kissing scenes were pretty steamy , which surprise me for a mini drama.

Lol after you read this review you basically have watched the whole drama.

A journey of Stenotype operator and solving cases!

This drama was so good ! Heads up not a romantic one! It woulda be nice to add a tad more romance but this drama is about crime/cases. This one is interesting because they are different cases inside this drama like each vignette/story is like 5 episode. All of them are very mind thrilling and definitely gets your adrenaline rushing!

Love Janice Wu as the lead!! She is a genius, very good at critical thinking and analyzing, very good at all subjects. She has a twin sister. Her twin sister Qiao Ya, applied to be a court intern and disappear right before she need to take her exam. She asked the main lead Qiao Nuo to taker her place. Her twin had something important to finish, so she asked her sister Qiao Nuo in the mean time to act as her cover. She takes the job well because she is very smart. There are like 5 different cases that they go through. The male lead is a court prosecutor he is also very intelligence and upholds justice.

What I find interesting is that it isn't strictly just court cases, but the story behind them and the investigation. To me they are like police. Its interesting to see the prosecutor and lawyer go head to head! Each case was packed with suspense and totally unthinkable. The case that left an impact was the one on bullying! I really wanted the bully to get justice. Also there was the mystery behind the sister and what was happening. ( although I was slightly disappointed by how that turned out) I though maybe the last couple episodes would talk more, but it was through the drama . Also the ending was not my favorite.... I felt like the sister's disappearance could of been better.

The male lead liked the female lead but that was basically it. Nothing further after that, i mean because this drama is focused on the crimes and cases. I didn't like that fact the male lead , didnt trust the female lead after he found out about her real identity. I felt he was not understanding and ever strayed from her..

I would high recommend this drama!

female novelist getting inside her own novel and the complicatedness and story behind it

This drama tried to be Someday or one day , but this drama didnt really work. I think thats why people rate it so low. Its has some plot holes and did make sense/ add up. This drama is not a cute love story ( well part of it is) Its more thriller/crime mixed in with romance.

The female lead is a novelist and is in the process of writing her story " Detective ceo." Somehow through a car accident she gets into the world of her book, but she loses all her memory about her old self. Inside the story she is another character called Qian Zhen Zhen. (btw inside her story she is another person, even the way she looks). The male lead is Lu Li, the assistant of Qian Zhen Zhen. In her story Qian Zhen Zhen is a lu cha biao and tries to seduce the boss.. ( the boss is the story's main lead) Her personality changes when the female lead Li Chun Xi ( the novelist) gets inside the story. The female lead novelist person is more calm and collected, sometimes the wild Qian Zhen Zhen will occasion come out, and try to seduce the boss.... lol... As the start of the story I was unsure who was the male lead was... but slowly she spends more time and develops a relationship with the assistant. They get wrapped in interviewing a psychologist, who is the main culprit behind everything that is happening. He's an evil mastermind. Turns out he knew the assistant's older brother. He set up the assistant's brother suicide. Thats why the assistant wanted to investigate him.

The story gets someone confusing when the female lead starts to remember who she is but partly, It made her seem like she had two personalities, or that she is crazy. The mystery aspect of this drama is heavy, but the story is written weirdly. But its through the female lead novelist finally remembering her whole identity that starts to help solving the case/ putting the bad guy in jail. not to mention the evil psychologist got someone else to do the dirty work.

But despite this there is still love! its a pretty cute love story/couple. I believed their chemistry and romance. Also the kisses where not just pecks on the lips, but feels more real. But obviously the drama is not focused on romance,

Im not sure if I really liked how it ended, i mean like every story there is an ending and she gotta wake up... The ending is interesting... haha

I think its a decent watch!!

Female detective meets male policeman, solving crimes together in Shanghai

I like the genre of mystery/crime but only watch American shows.Decided to give this a try and this was a great watch! It was definitely really interesting and the cases: some i can remember, on a train, in a club, in a clothing store, in a circus, in a magazine company, radio station, in a factory.

Cast: Female lead actress Ma Yali. She played the character so well! She is so extravagant, flirty, daring, brave and very observing, she is over the top , but thats why I love her. Her character is also so funny. Her dresses and qi pao are so pretty! They suit her so well. Also she has minimal eye makeup, but still looked so good.
Male lead actor Vengo Gao. tall, Handsome, cool, police. I also like his outfit too, really tailored for him.

Second female lead aka the maid/assistant- helps with figuring/solving of the crimes. She is good at cooking and sewing
Second male lead - He's the police under the Male lead. He is cute, dorky and awkward but lovable. The relationship between the second leads is super cute too, a very simple, puppy love hehe.

Each story was 2-3 episodes longs and they were all very interesting. Takes me back to the old days :) I really liked how many of them they pretend to be spies and tried to get into the place to get more information about the murders.

Romance- hardly any, but definitely its ambiguous, aka ai mei between the two main leads. lol she is trying to always butt into the cases and the male lead always tries to stop her. The second pair, is a simple puppy love. They like each other ;) In the last ep, the female and male lead finally kissed !!!

I recently watched Miss gu who is silent! I prefer this drama Miss S over that one! This one was more fun and light hearted. Miss Gu the end didnt make sense and it was just one mystery drama.

TWISTED PRINCE TRYING TO USE THE FEMALE LEAD..

THIS DRAMA HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL AND FELL SHORT SO BADLY! Romance I give it a 10/10 , but the storyline and development is like a 5/10. The first half is pretty good but then it starts too get repetitive and the last few episodes got me super confused and puzzles. They try to fit too much stuff into the last three ep, not sure if it was an editing mistake but I couldnt follow with the flow of the drama.

Female lead is the evil prince's subordinate and does things for him. The male lead is the subordinate of the King and his parents were frame for something they didnt do resulting in them being killed. The evil prince hates the male lead and wants to do everything in this power to weaken his forces and at the same time try to prove himself to his emperor daddy.

The evil prince is just to0 abusive and let him have too much of the limelight, to a point where it didnt really make sense.

The female has this sickness that only the evil prince can provide the medicine for.

To be honest only watched it for the steamy kissing scenes but beside those this drama is skip worthy, really thought it was going to be good... so sad it turned out like this.

I absolutely adore the female leads personality, She is hecka quirky, loud, proud and stands up for herself , takes no sh*t from nobody. She was the main reason why this drama was enjoyable because it was full of laughter lol.

Female lead background comes from a family of doctors. When she was young her whole family gets massacred and she remains alive. She grows up with a family that takes her in. She has a not related by blood sister. The sister ends up going to the palace in place for her benefactor's daughter. ( who eloped with her loved one) Female lead follows and works in the kitchen as a maid. The sister became a concubine of the emperor. The male lead is an imperial guard. They have a bickering relationship. Because of thee female lead identity, she gets in danger a lot. There are some people who want to get rid of her, and of course the main lead saves her. They gradually fall in love. Her personality is seriously so funny. As a maid you will get punished for doing something wrong. She ends up hitting the people who want to hit her. Dang she has the guts to do so !! Due to evil people scheming, she and her concubine sister gets banished to work on a royal burial site. The female lead learns about medicine and helps the village get through a pandemic.

Romance; Their romance is pretty cute. I like how the main lead always protects her. He's alway the one to initiate the kisses. Their kisses are sweet and with believeable chemistry :)

I didnt like the end as much... maybe because I had to wait like a whole week for the last ep lol. didnt like the fact that her sister turned evil.... but still the female leads saves her. It was sad that she found out the person who killed her family was the male lead's dad. After saving her sister, then it ended abruptly without any explanation. That is why its 9 /10. but overall a good watch !

First of all this was filmed in 2017... This drama if it werent for the Li yi tong and Lu yi, i couldnt get through it... and which i barely got through.... dont like this drama... storyline sucks..

Female lead is the daughter of the Xia corporation. She is rich, pretty, smart. In her high school years she befriends Su Mo ( aka bitchy bf), and Ling Xiang An ( second lead?) whom she had a crush on. Of course the second lead only has eyes for the white lotus Su mo. At that time su mo already had a bf which was the male lead. Due to the male lead's family disapproval, the second female lead Su mo takes the money of the male lead mom's and goes to university in United Kingdom. Second male lead decides to go with his white lotus ( second female lead) to United Kingdom. During this time the female lead goes to United Kingdom to find her mom. The phone number that she though was the mom's was the male lead ( lol what a surprise) Thus beginning their friendship. They go through their 4 years together in United Kingdom and decides to go back to China to find her mother and get revenge on the mistress of her dad. The mistress has been trying to get rid of the female lead, trying to cut all money ties and tries to take over the company.
Long story short , male lead slowly falls in love with the female lead.. but the ex gets in their way aka the lu cha biao Su mo.

The story is not developed well and there are quite a few annoying characters!
1) Su mo ( who was suppose to be the female lead's best friend.... but was always jealous of the female lead for having the perfect life) Su mo gets int the way of the two lead's relationship, when she already has a fiancee. What a bitch !!
2) Lin Xiang An ( the crush of the female lead when she was young) He only has eyes for Su mo, and never saw how good the female lead was. His character is of nuisance, and annoying.
3) evil mistress wanna be step mom.... such a despicable character and conniving. Trying to do too much to interfere between the relationship of the female lead and her dad.

The sweet moments of the leads were not enough. They were literally always bickering than being in love.lol I guessed right about when they would be together,, more than half way of the drama... predictable...

sighs... not my fave drama...arghh but i love lu yi and li yitong tho :(
