MALE CEO WHO HATE LIES MEETS MISS LIE

Updated!! watching it in 2023. Romance 10/10 , annoying characters 10/10, last few episode dropped the rating from 9.5 to 8.5. Those side characters are way too annoying, and the fact that the male lead got mad at her...

I enjoyed this drama for the most part, up until the end, the end kinda ended abrupt ( will talk about it later)

Story: Male CEO absolutely hates people to lie, so he insist on tell the truth all the time which sometimes truth can hurt. Female lead is the opposite, she likes to tell more white lies. ( male lead had an traumatic encounter with a lie and vow to never lie again) The two meet after the male lead exposed her cheating bf and also made her lose her job. She ends up applying to the male lead company. They start off on the wrong foot, because he is finding that she always lies. The female lead helps the male lead talk and try to get clients for his architect company. Slowly the two fall in love, and his truthfulness starts to change her, and her white lies start to change him. She also helps heal the male lead and second male lead's broken friendship.

The female lead doesn't lie to hurt people , but she does white lies because she doesn't want to hurt her family, but also because she is scared to face the truth. With the help of the male lead, he encourages her to be herself and not to be scared or think she is a small potato. Through her struggles , the male lead sees that not all lies are bad.

Romance: this was one pair that was oozing with chemistry. every kiss was very cute and passionate ;) The way the male lead expresses his love for her is a little too much for my heart to handle. ( heart flutters) Seriously loved all the scenes.
I kinda skipped over the second male/female pairing love story lol not at interesting to me .

Annoying character: there was one lol , the female partner who liked the male ceo. Doing too much tio try to ruin the leads relationship. Please dont be a b....

Ending: not going to spoil it, but i felt like it could of wrapped it up better. I felt there was some unnesscary/ didnt make sense plot development towards the end.

Overall: I really liked the meaning and messages behind the story. its not bad as other review said. Also cute female lead, hot male lead, nice chemistry too.

From a cold general to one who loves and cares for his wife, and their encounters

For ancient drama I give this a solid ten ! First all of it wasn't draggy at all , despite it being 30 episode.

Storyline- The daughter of the Shen family has to marry a general far away. This general is heard to be ruthless in battle, giving him the nickname Devil. The female lead ends up going in her sister place, because her sister didnt want to marry a ruthless monster. Female lead didn't want her mother to suffer so she accepted the marriage. On the way, she is met with some other tribe people, the male lead ends up saving her( she didnt know who he was atm) She and her maid makes their way to the general's house. From getting to knowing the general, to being with him on the training ground their relationship grows and blossoms.

Romance- This one had quite a lot of kissing. They are a pretty cute couple. They have good passion. It's really cute to see their love develop for one another. It is most definite that the male lead loves the female lead a lot and is very patient with her. She can be over bearing somethings but the male lead still supports her. Their kisses gets better as their relationship blossoms, which is very cute. Its quite natural, like a everyday couple. Their relationship has it ups and down.

Reason why this drama is good
Wasn't too heavily focused on one specific topic. The underlying story was the general wanted to investigate what happen to the 8th king's family. Others included the female lead and male lead in their training ground, when she goes back home to live, finding her old friend, starting up her own business and some more.

Starts off with a bang, already have a kissing scene in ep 4 lol

Male lead and female lead's love for one another.

Some things that i didnt care for
- ugh hated with a passion her two annoying sisters! same dad different mom. They were quite annoying , but its very limited. I cant stand those drama who has a lot of the evil people getting their ways.

This drama surpassed my expectation. I loved it!

Am I the only one that actually liked it? For those who can understand mandarin can go on langlangbay.com to watch. I wouldn't recommend youtube because some times its missing audio, and sometimes it zooms in and out randomly...

Story: I actually like the story lol, i never thought the storyline was cliche until reading the two reviews lol. I mean who does love a cute love story, with basically no annoying characters. The female lead lands a job as the male lead's secretary. ( male lead is a ceo ) He is extremely obsessive compulsive, liking everything neat and in order. The female lead is a superior secretary to the male lead, that is because she use to be lovers with him. It turns out the male lead lost his memory five years ago and is trying to retrace his memory. The female lead's attentiveness to details/ how she knows the routine of the ceo attracts the male lead. As you know they start to fall in love and that is when its revealed that they use to be together. SPOILER COMING UP....... I felt it was breathable/ fresh when he lost his memory the second time again. He lost his memory because they got intimate. ( at the point of the story its like a restart which made it more interesting ( to me) Its later revealed why he lost his memory ( don't want to spoil the rest). its a nice drama and at the same time I bawled cried) at some parts, like when she left him because she didn't want to risk him forgetting her again. ( it was heart wrenching to watch)

Romance/ Chemistry: if you are a romantic, you love this drama. It had many sweet scenes between the female lead and male lead. It flashed back to 5 years ago and those scenes were full of chemistry too. The female /male lead pairing worked for me and I believe their chemistry. Many dramas now just do like a peck on the lips and zoom in ... lol it doesnt feel real.. also it doesn't always have to be the male lead initiating it... I liked how the female lead was not shy about expressing her love .
Also the second female/ male characters also got romantic development which was nice. also they had happy endings ( i mean its pretty cliche but cute to watch)

Overall, I really enjoyed it and didn't have to skip too much of it. Its only 24 episodes which i find nowadays is the perfect amount of episodes. I recommend. But of course my favorite romantic drama is my love enlighten me :) whoo you made it to the end of my long review :)

Dude , this started with a bang! in the first ep there is already a kissing scene.... But then it kindy went downhill from there... Honestly kinda on the fence as to liking or hating the drama. It's not a bad watch but the story felt kind of choppy.

Background/story; Female lead is Mi qi qi, she is from the witch tribe/clan. They are in danger so she gets sent away and her spirit gets into the main lead's empress body ( Chou Qing li ). She is know as the ugly empress. The main lead Lu Ao is the king or the Lord in the story. The male lead was poisoned when he was young as when he moon gets round her becomes a werewolf. He accidentally bits and slashed the chou qing li . After she falls in the water , that is when Mi Qi Qi comes in.

The female lead loses all her witch power so she basically is a normal person. She has a red jade with her. She somehow always ends up getting healed from major injuries. The first 10 episodes is a repeat of the evil people and the male lead trying to put her to the grave. It's kind of painful to watch over and over again , and so sad she gets tortured.
( she later finds. out that those incidents were caused by the male lead, he didnt want her to find out his wolf secret, but gradually he falls in love with her.

then comes ep 10- 20 - basic summary of she finds out that he was behind it all. She gets extremely mad at him and doesn't want to see him, no matter what he does being soft or being hard/harsh. She doesn't cave it. ( lol 10 episode of that is too much)

Chemistry- definitely some chemistry but at the same time I felt it was more of the male lead liking the female. Hence when they were kissing the female lead was kinda lacking emotions ... ( it might just be the portrayal of her character? )

ep 20- 36 revolved around trying to the second male trying to be the king. The evil second female lead trying her ways to get the power from the red jade and the sword. Other characters are introduced too. There is the female lead's brother( not blood related who she grew up with . A princess from some tribe , that the male lead knew when he was young. Female's lead brother and tribe princess also has a romantic development

Towards the end they reveal the female lead actually has another identity and through that identity she regains her with power back. And then you know what happens they get the throne back., and some other stuff . most important happy ending. If you are still ready kudos to you :)

This drama was very enjoyable. The female lead is 29 years old, divorced and has a child. The male lead is 23 years old. Male lead is a ceo of a beauty company. Female lead divorced her cheating husband and needs to find a job to get the rights of her child back. She becomes the personal assistant of the main lead. At first they are bickering but slowly they fall in love. I like the female lead because she is smart and thinks quickly off her brain, she doesn't let a failed marriage get to her. She strives to do the best at her work and takes good care of the male lead. The main lead at times can be child like but has time where he is very manly too. ( he looks very young...) Their real life age is the same as in the drama btw :) The male lead had a traumatic childhood which causes him to faint/ lose breath if lights are shut off.

I really like the female lead and her best friend's friendship. They are there to support each other through the highs and lows. I wasn't as fond of the best friend and the second male lead's love story because it was kind of stick, lol at least they have a happy ending.

The chemistry between the female and male lead is good too. After they fall in love with each other , there are many sweet moments shared ( kissing scenes >_<). I feel that 16 episodes was the perfect amount of episodes, so that it didnt get draggy. I also liked that they acknowledge each others feeling pretty early on, not like some where they save it for the end. of course their love has some ups and downs ( i'll let you watch that part yourself).

People jealous of the female lead

Thank God this drama is just 24 eps! 24 eps was pushing it for me! There's way too much going on and too many people in this drama.

Su Bei ( FL) is a fashion designer gets framed for plagiarism. Also her mentor? mysterious jumps off the bridge. She goes to Italy for seven years and finally comes back to investigate what happen. She is married to Lun Nan ( ML) who is the CEO of a fashion corp. He doesn't remember his wife because he had an accident, which left him 5 years in a coma.

Su Bei has a bitchy younger sister who's a model. She's a model under Lu Nan's company. Lu nan doesn't buy into her schemes. Lu Nan is a rich, smart and cold businessman. He wants to divorce his wife but somehow ends up being in a contracted marriage to save the image of this company. Thus beginning from what was hate towards his wife to finally falling in love with her. They have some cute moments and pretty steamy kisses.

The annoying part was too many freaking side characters, like Lu nan's adoptive sister. She basically liked her brother and didnt want him and Su bei to be together. She did a lot of things to sabotage their relationship.
2) Su Bei's sister. She's annoying as hell, stuck up, trying drug her sister's husband......Also tried running her sister over with a car.
3) Evil guy - he had a complicated backstory,...He was basically behind it all. He was a wolf in sheep skin. He is the illegtimate son of the Gu family. Gu family is the other major contendor in the fashion industry.
4) Su Bei's so called sister (not blood related but related to her mentor). She ends up being with the evil Gu guy and like betraying her. Like her part of the story is so freaking random and out of place...

Characters I liked
1) ML AND FL 'S SON. He's like the cutest little thing ever, smart, cute and talks a lot.
2)FL'S best friend- she is very faithful to female lead and helps her a lot
2) ML's right hand hand- He's very supportive of the male lead , helping him out.

Would recommend this drama!!! Starts really good. The male lead is a person who seeks for precious gems. He gets into. a car accident and accidentally meets the female lead who is a tribe leader. She takes him in and takes care of him. He finds out she has a precious gem and he wants to take it for himself, so he needs to gain the trust of the female lead. The female lead promise to give it to him only if they get married. He basically teaches her about how to use a phone, eat instant noodle, and take selfies. She has a really good memory. Female lead is a naive, innocent, simple minded girl. The male lead is more dark, cold and mysterious ( he wanted to only use her at first.... but then you know ,... they fall in love)
He basically drugs them the night of the wedding and he escapes. ( lol thats the background)

The female lead tries to find him in the city, there she meets the second male lead. lol he wants her to be in a live stream with him( thats his job) The male lead is trying to find the cave were there is a lot of precious gem. Also the evil characters in the show want to find it for themselves. In the process the male lead finds an elder who once had connections about finding the cave/ he had a secret box that he kept with him. They keep trying to open that box to see whats the secret behind it all.

I really liked the male lead's relationship with his two childhood friends. One is a computer genius and the other is knowledgable in gems, they all help to try to open the locked box.

Some parts in the middle was kind of draggy/ a little slow, like the plot was developing it pick up closer to the end. ( dont want to spoil too much )

What really sold me was the female lead. She is so cute, gulliable, innocent but at the same time smart, brave and honest, speaks her mind. She is the ray of sunshine that melts/ heals the male lead's scar. She brings positivity and genuineness. The chemistry between them is alright. I felt the female liked the male more lol , therefore some of the kissing scenes to me didn't strike my heartstrings as much as some in other drama, but in the end i felt the feelings ( lol watch for yourselves). I also liked how each character was able to get some romantic character development. The story was well rounded and had a happy ending. So please go watch :)

This drama is a pretty solid drama for me.

The female lead works at a VR gaming company. She is very ordinary and has a crush on her boss. However her boss doesn't like her. She ends up being the first person to try out this game created about falling in love with an emperor. Inside she is an ugly maid . She also chose the setting of most difficult level , therefore she encounters a lot of difficulties happen to her.

I like the female lead and her acting. Her character is cute , likable and quirky. She has one speciality which is cooking. She works her way up from being a maid to a palace chef. She tries to find the button to save her progress during the game, and that's were she ends up meeting the male lead.

The male lead is the emperor. He is a very smart , caring loving guy. The female and male leads encounters are funny and their romance which blossoms is cute and enjoyable. They have really good chemistry. Lol a good number of kissing scenes for you fans out there ;)

The storyline flowed really well and eventually back to the reality. It goes back full circle .

If you like drama genre "reality to game ", then this is the right drama for you.

CEO loses his memory and learns to experience emotions !

This drama is your somewhat cliche drama of the male lead losing his memory and the female lead pretends to be the financee, regaining memory . I must say the first half is quite slow and not very interesting!

Female lead use to be the student of the male lead( He was her instructor). He eventually becomes an investor of a company basically a CEO. The male lead is special because he doesnt experience any types of emotion. People think he is stone cold but doesnt know that his personality was due to trauma family incident. His ex fiancee couldnt get pass that he doesnt love her. Also in male lead's company the vice president/vice ceo tries to do the male lead dirty by trying to get hi injured in a car accident in Thailand.

Female lead is the secretary of her good friend's company. She is the one that deals with the business which so happens that the male lead's company is also interested. She follows him in Thailand to find him in an car accident. Male lead loses memory and the female lead takes care of him. During this time she knows there are still people after him , so she protects him !She lies and makes up stories about her relationship with the male lead. Honestly those episodes were quite boring. There was also flash backs to when she was a child and the interactions she had with her mom.

I stuck around because I wanted to see the cute lovey dovey kissing scenes!Honestly the intro song shouldnt put all the cute scenes in! It was a lot better when the female lead finally fell in love with the male lead. Man... where there some steamy kisses! Their relationship is super cute!

The storyline picked up fast after he regained his memory! It went in a good direction and a lot of the story flowed well! It was hilarious to see the ceo male lead kinda take revenge on the female lead for lying to him. It was cute that she helped cure him of his not being able to sense emotion! He fell in love with her again! So cute.

There were some side characters that was also the evil/annoying characters, but they didnt have too much screen time!Which is good, too much and this drama would of been complicated. However I felt some characters were kinda unnecessary, like her dad and older brother. I mean her dad was a cute dad who loved the daughter. They dont really have a good relationship until up to the very end.

I would recommend this drama but be ready to skip/forward the first half/ >_<

Love their chemistry, relationship , their kisses !

Had really high hopes for this drama. This drama is a gender bender which the female lead acts a male as a physican/doctors in hopes to find who killed her parents.
Reasons why i didnt like the show as much
1) it took way too long for the male lead to figure out she was a female total eps 28 i think he found out more towards the last 10 eps
2) The storyline has potential but it developed in all kinds of different ways
3) after i have watched it still didnt figure out why the evil dude was evil ? like what relation did he have in the story ? he felt out of place , just inserted randonmly lol ( or maybe i missed it because I skipped some parts)
4)although she is a doctor she didnt not do much healing/ seeing patient
5) the story behind her family's death was also weakly developed
6) they ridiciously inserted the show's sponsor in the drama ( its a beauty mask sponsor... felt it really stretching it.

The story of the lil bro trying to chase the older sister ((not blood related)

Seriously someone should update the summary of this drama,..

Female lead studies psychology and contemplates whether to do grad school. Male lead is 6 years younger than the female lead. The female lead was always there to take care of him. He has always had a crush on his "sister". He;s obviously a little more naughty and playful , while the. female lead is more calm and collected. The dad always tries to set her up with dates. In order to stop the dad from setting more dates the male lead claims the female lead is pregnant! lol starting their fake romance!

Although their relationship is super cute! like you could totally feel the love of the male lead for his sister..... They kinda have a weird relationship. Weird in the sense... is like i thought they were together, wait they actually arent,,,, they have miscommunication, break up, get back together. They get their marriage license... yet the male lead still proposes to her. It just seems like a back and forth chasing...Like the female lead likes him but i dont even know when they were offically together.

The story development is a little lacking in the sense that it just goes back and forth between the leads. I didnt feel much character development from the female lead or male lead. Also they made it mysterious as to why the male lead eats candy /sweet he gets an allergic reaction They dont really explain or elaborate on it.

She starts her own dessert shop after...And it wasn't successfully initially. Joey chua is cute in here but her personality is to wishy washy.... Can't believe the actor is born in 2000.

I definitely would not rewatch... but for first timers its decent.

Herbal root to the rescue

I personally really like this type of genre, where a living thing/creature suddenly turns into a human. The female lead is an herbal root called ban lan geng. She practices for a 1000 year to be a plant deity. She basically has powers. The male lead is the herbal lord and he has been poisoned. The female lead as a plant gets eaten by a doctor's daughter, and now she shares the body with the daughter. The doctor's daughter really wants to marry the herbal lord, so she ask ban lan geng to help court the herbal lord. At the same time ban lan geng is attracted to the herbal lord for his herbal air If she gets hurt and takes a whiff of that she becomes better. lol of course for her to best take in the herbal air is to kiss. there is quite a few times the female lead and male lead kiss. Initially the male lead is turned off by her because she keeps asking for him to marry her. He slowly falls for her.

Female lead is a super cute , and silly character. The actress who played her is vey suited for ancient fairy/deity drama Wouldn't say the male lead is super handsome but he's not that bad looking. I would give their chemistry and romantic part of the story a 9/10. They are super cute and have a lot chemistry when they kiss. Some are pretty passionate, they make it believable. It's also just really cute when they are together.

However story wise, i felt it wasn't a smooth development. They basic storyline involves an evil witch/priest who is against the herbal lord/trying to take him down. The evil witch uses the doctor family's enemy and try to scheme them. The female lead often times protects the herbal lord. The beginning was more light i guess... getting to know the female lead, then falling in love with her, finding her true identity. The witch however tricks the female lead into believing she will cause him to die if she takes too much of the herbal air from the herbal lord. Then later she finds out about how she isnt just a ordinary herbal plant and that her past life had relations to the herbal lord.... and some other things happen which pushes the story in a weird way, in which the female lead deja vu / said the same lines before in her past life. ( hopefully that makes sense without spoiling too much) i would rate the story 7/10

Overall not a bad watch, it was interesting, except i skipped some of the annoying storyline >_< . definitely love the romance part of it:)

I love you for you

Such a cute a sweet drama! Im glad this drama didnt take the route of psycho where the main lead was both. I'm glad that he was justing acting like his brother. The male lead has a twin brother but he died so he would act as the younger brother in front of his ill mother. This was his secret that no one knew about. The female lead and male lead were high school classmates. At that time the male lead liked the female lead and even confessed his love through a love letter. Unfortunately that love letter got posted up in the whole school for everyone to see.
The female lead is a reporter which she needs to interview the male lead. The male lead acted like his twin brother and helped to her to lie about their marriage to the female lead's mom. Thus creating a co habiting.
Their relationship is pretty cute and believeable. They have a good chemistry together. I liked that the female lead has brains and is smart. She wont give up without a fight. There are some annoying characters but they have little screen time which is good.

A Bittersweet love story of a wolf and a girl

guys go grab your tissues!! i bawl my eyes out.Such a heart breaking bitter sweet story, loved it so much.

I applauded Wang Da lu and Li Qin, they did great to act as Lang zai ( wolf boy) and Xing er ( Star)

When the female lead was young, she went to Wolf mountain and there she met a boy who was raised by wolf. She and the wolf would play together and she would forget about her sadness. Female lead ( Xing er) wanted to bring Lang Zai ( male lead ) to people and civilization. Meanwhile the people in town heard about how there is a scary beast inside Wolf Mountain. One day an official gets murder and the blame is on Lang Zai. The Ma family send their troops to find him. The Ma's son kills the wolves and hurts Lang Zai. He jumps off the mountain , Xing er gets her leg hurt trying to save Lang Zai. Fast forward 8years has pass. Lang zai was saved by the evil king, and healed him and trained him underground warrior, he is also given the new title as Bo Wang ( the 3rd prince). An order is sent to Bo wang's subordinates to kill the Ma family, but leave the daughter. ( the female lead's family is the Ma's) She is devastated, soon after she becomes Bo Wang's empress. Bo wang held a grudge against her because he though the Xing er betrayed him. He's initially cold to her but Xing er is sweet, pure and kind and what Bo wang does to her does not stop her from being kind. She brings warmth to the Bo wang household. Through a serious of encounter she figures out that Bo wang is Lang zai, who she has been longing for. They had their sweet moments but not for long they end up becoming enemies and fight against one another. ( there's a little more after that , but dont wanna ruin it all)

This story the relationship between the two is soooo sweet and cute! I loved the parts with Lang Zai and Xing er, just tooo cute, but their relationship is not all sweet. A lot of its really bitter because Lang Zai is no longer Lang zai but Bo wang, the third prince. He has to follow orders of the evil king. Xing er and Lang zai's relationship is so heart breaking and bitter sweet, i cried so much for their separation, hate and hurt. The sad parts are super sad and the sweet parts are like honey, tugs my heart strings so badly!!! Their kisses are very passionate and filled with chemistry.

I had second male syndrome!! I think a lot will like him Xiao Zhan !!! He was so kind and good to Xing er, only did good things to her, while Bo Wang hurt her alot!

This was the one drama that even though did not have the best ending I still liked it. It was really touching to see Xing er do that for Lang zai.

What I really liked was how she maintained a pure, kind heart even despite losing her family, betrayal, lies from Bo wang. She didnt really turn ruthless and cold hearted. In the end , she still had him in mind.

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE MUSIC? so good!!! all the songs were perfect for the moments and sounded so good! i give the music like 20 out out 10. love love love it!!!

I didnt give such a high score for re watch because i dont want to go through all the crying...

I LOVED THIS DRAMA!!! GO WATCH IT PLEASE!!

Sweet and pure high school life

This drama i recommend! it's a good watch. Even tho its the school genre this one is done well with a lot of refreshing elements. The storyline keeps it from being boring or the same kind of story, like studies, test etc.

The female lead is the class monitor, where she has to collect other students homework and turn it into the teacher. There she meets the male lead who is good at running. They are on bad terms because she successfully collected the male lead 's hw . The male lead is part of the track and field. He somehow has to combine classes with the female lead ( who studies english)

This drama is about their interactions and how they overcame each area, from the students in the english class and the students in running class not liking each other to overcoming their bias to help each other out. The male lead becomes more serious in his study and the whole class helps him fight of that he cheated in his test, to having a new celebrity idol come to the class, the female lead's sickness etc. They all go through i together.

The relationship between the leads was super cute too ! It was super sweet , pure and innocent. They finally had one kiss in the end. I really liked their puppy dog love. The times they spent together is super cute. Would love to see a sequel, maybe when they are in college.
