The storyline had some pretty good build up and momentum in the beginning and towards the middle. I wish that the moment when things started to spark though happened too briefly that the conflict with it wasn't able to manifest, and give the main character in the story any time to understand what was happening. From innocence to confusion it didn't give much on the finished feeling towards the end. The ending had a bit of a twist but I think it was done too sloppy and dismissively. I would still recommend others to see this movie if they want a good flashback to dial-up internet connections and to watch the thrill of youth turn down some dark and twisted happenings when people feel it's the only choice they have to get out their situation they are living in.
As the title suggests, you will become addicted to this series. If not for the abrupt end because China's government on this topic seems to be repressive to save face and their pride than actually working with the common interest of their population at the time of this was aired. This series starts with a spark of curiosity that leads you down to rivalry and then to an inescapable need to be with the person you were meant to be. The title is the perfect way how to describe the feelings of how anyone when they are true to themselves and fall maddening in love with someone. The heart wrenching fights and internal struggles will only strengthen your need to know where it will lead to next. The actors worked smoothly with each other and the characters were so well thought out and unique to any other series in the BL genre I have come into contact with as of yet. My only wish is that i hope that they kept filming the end of the series without presenting it until they were allowed to so that I could watch to the end of the story.
This was one of the first BL series that I starting seeing. The plot line is well maintained and deeper than just a fan-biased show. This series walks through the breaking the gender of relationships and just feel how that person makes you feel, blindly. The actors have very good chemistry. This can be related to real life as we all know that coincidence is only a fairytale we tell ourselves and everything happens for a reason, even when you are put in a position that others wanted you to do. The story does very well with gradually picking up the momentum as it progresses and making you crave to see what happens next. What happens when pride and image are no longer your concern, and your true feelings are allowed to come through? This is a must watch series.
