Giving 2010s feel good vibes.
The acting, the life/career turmoil of 20s, and how beautifully is this shot! Perfect Autumnal show.
I'm really feeling the arc of the FL here - she's sure going to have a uno reversal throughout the story. SKJ, he's bringing that heat!

but GR said get lost, so what was he supposed to do? chase her around??? he tried, she kept biting his head off.…
I agree, how much is he supposed to chase her. Also, why in 2026 is the heroine being a martyr and not being honest and going through a whole pregnancy!

MaybeThat is the only logical explanation for such a cruel cold heartless greedy materialistic woman having such…
I know, I am just not vibing with either this mum/dad adoptive parent duo. Why are they so controlling of the dad's younger brother. Yeah, he raised him like a father but he's now a 50 year old man! The mum is definitely a manipulative schemer so guess she will get her karma dose, but with the length of the show, I'd hope it's not in the final 5 eps!

Wonderfully nailed this one! I do like the slow character arch growth and messy family dynamics' - feels so old…
It would be great if they were just friends, the father and Mu Jin's mum but then again, this is a kdrama!

My assessment at the end of ten episodes: Love on the Menu is very much that older‑style, community‑centred…
Wonderfully nailed this one! I do like the slow character arch growth and messy family dynamics' - feels so old school K-weekend-drama vibes. I find myself looking forward to catching up on the weekends. I do find realism in Gyu-rim trying to find herself again and let go of all the responsibilities she's had as the eldest. I don't get where they are going with Mu-Jin's mother and the loser father.

I know Han Gyuyeong is an unpopular character but I’d rather watch her create chaos in the pursuit of climbing…
Yeah, she is quite interesting to watch lol

I don’t like how Mu Jin only went back to recover things with Gyurim after he was basically "forced"…
I think it's the writing of the characterisation, bit weak.

my heart breaks for gyeol, the way he had went around asking everyone if he's actually GyuRim's son or not :(
That was a sob fest, poor boy.

Title Family Register Spoiler
EP 47 - spoilers and review below in the reply....
So JH's parents adopted him. Makes sense why they are a bit distant but particularly the mother is such a cold hearted materialistic cowbag.
Finally some hand-holding via beach shell gifting!! Liking the preview, she looks to be slowly coming round to seeing him as a kindred spirit at this stage. I'm warming up to them as a pairing now...just give some more moments finally!

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
It's been a dry well with gripping Cdramas or Kdramas this summer or year more like! This was amazing overall,…
Shame the romance lacked in the latter half, so sparse. They overloaded the politics and dragged that final resolution.

It was the way the scenes were written. I can't believe this is the same screenwriter as The Prisoner of Beauty.…
Oh wow, didn't realise it was the same writer! It had some incredible moments but not enough in the second half.
