the way they killed one person of each ship/couple. excluding main leads every couple had one dead. qin zhi yan and her fiance were surprisingly alive but still separated. I cant with the writers. such sadists. Doctors and Qin Qian Xian's death were unasked for. IT WAS NOT NEEDED AT ALL. I was almost ok with others dying but not these two. Loved the doctor. he deserved happy ending with his lover.

its so good. music, bgm, story everything is perfect. Finally something to be excited about after LBFAD. First 4 episodes made it worth it already <3 I am in love with both leads.

Article How to Make a Romantic Xianxia: Love Between Fairy and Devil
Used to be not a big fan of xianxia but LBFAD did it so well that they made me fall in love with the genre. Best xianxia romance for me. the cinematography, acting and the chemistry between the leads was amazing. Loved it and I am still obsessed with it<3 for me ancient love poetry and LBFAD are the best recent xianxias.
