Title Word of Honor Spoiler
I don`t think so, my intuition is really telling me this will not happen, be more optimistic.
It had a kind of more of an open ending. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan separated from each other, after realising they have different things to do and thus different paths to take temporarly, after all the conflicts are resolved in the last episode, and kind of promising each other they will reunite in the future.
And when they are reunited, they are not showed actually meeting each other, but only Wei Ying turning to look and smiling at someone who he didn`t meet for some time.
It`s hinted it`s Lan Zhan he is smiling too, but because they aren`t actually showed together, it left many fans and me too, a bit dissapointed, they could have just showed them meeting properly, what difference would that make.

Ok so, here I'm watching this movie for the 2nd time within the time period of 5 days and honestly telling this…
Yes, i watched the movie for the first time unsubbed, and i still figure`it out most what it happens and what the characters are going through, the advantage of watching countless bl dramas and movies . And after i rewatched`it, it hits a bit differently, like it get`s personal, and you can sympathize and understand more deeply both main characters. The toughts and decisions that both of them make since the moment they meet each other again are valid. You know what they are doing are things everyone can think and do in real life, and even through is painful to watch a times, it make you envious and wish you could love someone as much as this two guys end up loving each other. The movie depicts an intense kind of love, that can be too much for some people, but you won`t feel the movie is lacking too much in any aspect, i think it`s a very well made and balanced movie.

This has to be the first cdrama I've followed ever since the rumors of an adaptation came out. Can't believe they're…
Yes, for me too, Silent reading is at the top within Priest novels. It`s a novel that everything is perfectly tought, and all the scenes flow well, i didn`t have anything to complain about. Even through i wouldn`t have complained for Priest to add a few more romantic scenes, but because the ones that are, they are very memorable and touching, i can`t really complain. The cases are really dark and psychological too, i hope they will make them at least easy to follow and logical.

Oooh, I 100% percent agree with this. In the past, there's always been the historical cdramas that have these…
Yes, it is, i suddendly thinked about this too recently, how different this drama is compared with other cdramas aired until now, by having both main leads as villains, and i think this is subconsciously one of the major reason why people are attracted to this drama and are willing to continue watching. Because of the dynamics of the two male characters, the novel the drama is based, is one of a kind too, among Priest novels and bl novels too. I read a lot of novels, but i have yet to see a couple where both of them are the bad guys, genuinely bad guys, that can kill anyone without batting an eye, and only cared and making sure that only a few persons close to them are not harmed. I was charmed of this dynamic.
I knew how the characters reallly they are by reading the novel, but i didn`t think they will portray the characters as similar as in the novel. I think this cleverly move is one of the straights of this drama, and the production team knew that to making the characters as flawed as possible will make the drama much more know.

If you refer in the drama, they will not, i assure you, it won`t pass censorship otherwise.
This is the most important rule when it comes to what the censore allow to pass when it comes to danmei adaptations, they can allow things like flirting, expressing the love between the characters in a more subtle way, but kisses are a no no. I like to watch and watched a lot of bl dramas and movies from asian countries, and i resigned a lot time ago about this as this is all chinese bl dramas has to offer, and i have a lot of variety to chose from other countries, ao i`m fine with it.

They are many people who picked the novel to be translated, but exile is the group that was the first to translate the novel and the translation is very good, and the only one that actually has completed the translation until now.
I will send you te link for you to check if it`s the same.

Yes, they didn`t only end up together properly, but officialy to the most important people close to them knowing they love each other and they are together, they are being so obvious about`it, it can let you in awe. The novel has 13 extra chapters, where they are showed exactly how they interact as lovers and being intimate to each other, they are many cute and touching moments too. The novel can make you connect more to the characters and it will make you not see the versions of Wei Ying and Lan Zhan from the drama with the same eyes after reading the novel, if you plan to read the novel.
In the drama, in that last scene it was not Wei Ying hallucination or something like that, that scene was made to imply that they indeed reunited and they will be together.

They`re watching the eps 9-13 episodes unsubbed on youku website or other site that has the eps unsubbed as they are released by youku. Youku youtube channel is the only one providing subs at the moment. For people who want to see the eps subbed, including me, we have to wait until next week to watch them subbed.

I don’t know why but I have a hunch that this is going to have a sad ending and of course I don’t want that…
Yep, @Day-Oui said all that you need to know. We all hope the screenwriter won't give`us a sad ending after taking so much effort for the drama to have a content that is similar with the one from the novel to this extent, because until now they retained a lot of what happens in the novel.

I have been wondering if Wen KeXing is that flirty in the book as he is on the show?
Yes, he is as flirty and as much of a stalker as in the drama, at least in the beginning, when they meet, but in the novel he is much more bold and shameless with his words, as what he is coming from his mouth didn`t have to be censored. The scenes where he is flirty are not as many as in the drama too, and when the relationship develop more Wen Kexing become more tactful and are using them only when he wants something from his lover hehehe.

I don`t think so, my intuition is really telling me this will not happen, be more optimistic.
I did write some minimal unimportant spoilers of what happens in the novel, so for the persons who didn`t watch at least the first eps of the drama or hadn`t read the novel and don`t want any spoilers, it would be better to not read this comment.

To be honest, the novel has it`s tragic moments too, Priest is the kind of writer that as many as happy and funny moments it gives to her characters, they made them go through as many equal or more hardships.

What the characters go through in the novel, and what decissions they had to made in the past and are doing in the present can be hard to read, so it make you feel that as long as the characters continue to live you will be happy, but is painful to read how much the characters are suffering because of they own actions, they own demons, how they try to overcome the dark side of their characters, what they have to sacrifice to make the right choices so they could survive. Zishu and Wen Kexing are both not good people in the first place, they both have blood on their hands, they`re broken, lonely, are not as perfect as they seem, and feel they can`t find a reason good enough to live and will not try to live at all cost if they are facing a life and death situation.

By meeting each other they each gave hope to the other, motivation and will to try to make good deeds, to compensate for all bad things they`ve done in the past.
I`m sure in the drama too, both characters will be tested and put in a lot of dangerous situations, especially Wen Kexing, he will probably almost die ( the scene in the trailer where he falls in that hole, it resonates to me with an incident that put his life in danger at the end of the novel), but they save each other.
Those moments can be hard to watch and it would make you hurt a lot more than a bad ending, and it should be enough as a compensation to give us a happy ending. The ending might not be exactly as the novel, but as long as they are alive and still meeting each other it should be enough, it`s still more than enough than what happened with Guardian and that ending of Untamed, that i still don`t know why they ended the drama like this. For people who want more, they can read the novel.
Maybe things may have changed and they will allow the airing of an ending as similar as with the nove as they can, we will know when it will end. It too unrealistic to give an open or a bad ending to all the dramas that are danmei adaptations.
It`s too early to worry about a bad ending, it can take away from the joy of enjoying the drama.

I really love th e novel and the drama, but i have to stop coming here, because it`s stressing me out. I wish people will try to start dicussions centered more about the drama and novel, real discussions, with more few and large posts that actually makes people happy and worth reading, and refrain from asking things that can be found by scrolling down or searching on the page.
If things continue like this, the valuable and beautiful comments will be lost in the sea of repetitive and frustrating comments, and it`s a pity.
I`m sorry the most for the people who will discover the drama later or after it finishes airing, and seeing that is hard to find a comment that make them feel something.
