Hang in there until chapter 30, starting from chapter 31, someone else continued with the translation, and the quality is much better from then. But, i still think the translation of the first 30 chapters are not that bad, it`s more than decent than some other translation of some of the novels i read.
I just noticed that the drama named The Unbeatable aired too, at the end of January. I didn`t even knew because i don`t check her dramas that are not based on bl novels, for Legend of Fei i knew because Wang Yibo is in it. . But as far as i know the novel that this drama is based on is not translated yet.

Now, what happened with My Roommate is a Detective was very unfortunate and i don`t wish that it will happen anymore in the future, to any of the censored bromance drama that are adapted for a bl novel or to a drama that is writed and promoted as bl, but the production time decides to make that kind of move. I don`t want to remember how much i resented the production team for what they did. In this drama, the only female character that is one of the main, along with the other male characters, is not the female lead to any of the lead characters, not to Zi Shu and not to Wen Kexing, she is the love interest of the character Cao Wei Ning, both in the novel in the drama. So, if you worry that the same thing will happen here, that happened in the drama you mentioned, it will not happen. And the female lead in My rommate is a detective was not there just for the sake of it, they have`it marry one of the leads, they give her an important role, because they couldn`t find another way, i was so dissapointed.

I was refering what Zhou Zishu said is more plausible, specially because someone who knows chinese told me he said 3 years, the scene before could be a mistake when they wrote the subs. Because Zhou Zishu did said he was a beggar for three years, then three years have passed. Like this it makes sense what he said about the emperor and he did said that he lived as a beggar for three years.

I think it' surely passed three years, it makes more sense after the conversation with the crown prince telling Zi Zishu to make sure to live to at least three years so he could prove to him that he could become the emperor and be as powerful without him, and then Zu Zishu mocking the emperor by saying he has not become the emperer yet. If the time passed is just three months is too little for Zi Zhu to say that, it`s just a small change from the novel. I don't know chinese, but i feel, the mistake was not when Zi Shu was talking, but in the scene before. It'n not exactly three years, it's to early to worry about this yet.

They subbed yesterday the first 2 eps when it was announced they will add subs, and for today they announced they will sub ep 3 and 4 uploaded in youtube and the ep 5 that will yet to be released today.
