i like the whole of the series not just because of a specific actor, and i hate it when fans demand to increase the role of a specific character just because of someone, yeah we have actors/actresses that we like but not all series that is decent should involve them, i got really mad the last time XZ fans demand that he should takeover the lead over Darren Wang.

most likely, XZ would cost too much playing a supporting character, but if his fees wont affect the production at all and the script wont add a questionable plot revolving his character just to milk more from him then its fine,

honestly i dont want Xiao Zhan to comeback for season 2, first is he cost way too much nowadays which might lower production quality at some parts, second is his company might urge to increase XZ role i like the guy and all but he's not fit to be a supporting role after his popularity rose up, its fine if the lead is doing a soso job but Ruo Yun has been nothing but spectacular,even Li Qin appearance in this one is pretty limited even shes the FL, this is based on some of the XZ fans urging The Wolfs productions to make XZ the lead in that one when clearly he's only the 2nd lead and that drama is already having issue just trying to air and when these unreasonable fans add to that, that drama probably wont see the light of day sometime soon.

nah this drama is hella done in post production already. all this drama needs to do is start airing, as the other person said they need to reshot and re edit all scenes, even before the untamed and XZ shot into stardom this drama is done in post production, and considering that XZ, and Li Qin have a ton of current projects this drama has a very low chance of having reshoots..

the actors tried.. but the story... its pretty meh..

should have stick to the lighthearted theme, the love triangle is frustrating and as usual the political, gosh should have really make this a lighhearted rom-com cuz costume dramas are mostly frustrating already but based on the synopsis i thought "well at least some change of pace on costume dramas" but at the end its one of the most disappointing dramas..

well MY was supposed to find his true love on the last trilogy since the 2nd was about BFJ but iirc the writer didnt bother probably got tired lmao..i saw an interview about the writer prior to the released of the series but that was years ago..

i didnt mean that he was a nobody before untamed, i meant that he was just a regular rising star and one of the most popular member of xnine, and being a regular rising star (and that being regular doesnt mean its bad) although has decent popularity has not that many toxic fans.. but nowadays lmao XZ fans after the untamed is irritating as hell, and even protesting that he be the lead on all his projects and XZ to be on more ads.. and etc etc... sometimes i dont even read articles about him anymore specially the comments section as some fans seems like they have their brains detached from their heads.. example is this project lmao its basically done sine the first qtr of this year and some retarded fans are voicing out that he be the lead, lmao this drama cant even air properly yet they demanding reshoots just for the sake of XZ..

oh my emperor aired before his popularity rose up.. and the male leads acting on that drama is pretty etchy which riles up some people as Xz acting is better thus making him the better candidate, but all in all that drama is just a promotional project for the group iirc AND all the actors are newbies, and people complaning about it nowadays are just newly XZ fans who have watch it recently and notice him since untamed was aired, while this drama, Darren is known to be a great actor and the fans whose requesting XZ to be the main lead is stupid and have no idea how production works, This Project is already done both in filming and post-production the only question is when!, those whose asking for XZ to be the lead can offer probably around 10million to do reshoots lmao if not this dramas will not probably air forever.. And before untamed XZ is not that popular tbh.. his popularity rose up just recently and thus milking starts, he aint being milked before tbh, i even rarely see him in advertisements cept for their groups before,

the industry has been really harsh on her, she's a child actress that has a lot of potential, but after her time on Fx it's as if her career is on a constant downhill, I wanna see her lead on a drama again.. Sigh..

probably cuz i've expected more from this drama, but at the end it left mo totally disappointed..

Main actors almost always gets paid before drama starts, because if their management raise an issue about it, it can cause trouble. lesser roles are sometimes postponed because well yeah they are extras..

they mostly get paid during production, specially during filming but likely before post production ends and like 95% already fully paid before airing, if not there's bound for controversies to arise *e.g unpaid salaries as the actors management will surely either released a statement to the press to force unpaid fees to be settled asap" thats why some actors doent mind if their project doesnt air because they already have their money some doesnt even watch their pojects specially dramas as it takes a long time to finish watching it but if its movies they mostly watch it during premier night with VIP and Sponsor of the said movies..

well drama is a lot of hussle compared to movies..

probably got tired of making dramas and decided to stick with movies this year lol, he has like what 6-7 movies set to premier in 2019,

yeah filming was done already, was supposed to air in 2018 but for unknown reason still haven't been aired.
