Review Eternal Love of Dream
You gave up too soon. This drama is not a continuation of Ten Mile Peach Blossom. The initial 10-15 episodes look like a remake but actually this drama develops along a different story line. Some viewers said it is closer to the original novel. But it get betters further into the story as it gets clearer it has a different plot. Perhaps you can skip the initial few episodes and watch the later ones more seriously.

Maybe I should wait for the last episode to be released and find out whether it has a tragic ending before I go on the second episode. I don't like tragedy - it leaves a depressed feeling.

I did not like the suicide scene either. It is glorifying suicide. Generally I do not like tragic endings. If I had known it was a tragedy, I would not have watched it.
