ONE OF THR WORST KDRAMAS OF 2020.

A waste of your life.

The only good thing about it is Kim Seon Ho’s character so just search Youtube for the compilation of his scenes. The whole story is a MESS. I wish they didn’t drag out the love triangle scene and just wrote a compelling business story instead or focus on the main couple and have them show us their growth.. not tell us!

They literally said, “I’ve changed, haven’t I?” WHEN NO ONE SAW THE CHANGE IN HIM AT ALL. A manchild of a character, poor Nam Joo Hyuk.

One line in the story that completely describes the drama and was actually said by the friend/colleague of FL & ML about them — “It’s like seeing two cockroaches in love”.

DO NOT WATCH.

I rarely rate and give a review but this needs to be said. Hyena is such an underrated drama. I truly enjoyed this more than The King Eternal Monarch showing right now. The main leads have explosive chemistry that emanates from the scren. Every micro-expression of their characters is done flawlessly!

I love that this is an empowered female lead who takes no bull and needs no man to save her. Add to that a seemingly typical cocky and overconfident male lead that actually shatters toxic masculinity as he isn’t afraid to show his emotional and tender side often. I love this dynamic. The second lead woman who forms the love triangle appears like a typical bitchy, smart popular girl who will start a fight but shatters that appearance too.

Gosh this was such a badass series that I binged it unknowingly (and I dont do that anymore!). Praying it gets another chance and continues to a second season.

Very refreshing to see Jung Hae in not in a melodrama and just being himself. Such a feel good show this world needs more of! I hope they continue to do this in more cities and countries. J love the concept and it’s executed very well. Props to the team and to Jung Hae In for taking this bold risk... worth every minute! I can’t wait to see more episodes in the future. Traveling with other actors/idols would be a good add-on too! It would be such a sight to see the actors acting as travel guides and hosts to this show
