Highly recommend but only read this if you've finished the drama

Production: The Chinese drama market is very fast-paced and production can be lacking. However, when watching this drama, I can see and feel all the thoughts that went into it. There are so many cute details and smooth easter eggs that make me continue to rewatch this drama.
Acting: I've liked WanPeng since her first drama and thought her acting was good as a newcomer. Her acting has always been very natural but I think she has improved a lot. This drama is Lin YanJun's first male lead drama and his acting truly surprised me. Very natural just like WanPeng. Both of them are great. I only see them getting even better. I also like the two of them a lot as they are hardworking, down-to-earth, humble.
Visuals + OST: Amazing visuals! Especially loved the raining umbrella scene, from the green leaves, rain sound, and the music. Very soothing and healing vibes. [IDK if international fans know but SuYan, the couple of the main leads, legit translates to "barefaced" or "a face without makeup". Because the color scheme of this whole drama is very soothing and has no major skin-toning, making everything very natural. OSTs of the drama are great and is mixed well into specific scenes of the drama. Also gotta love the cute sounds added whenever the leads do something funny or unexpected.
Story: Overall, the story is great and everything connects relatively well. However, towards to end even though it ends well, I do think they rushed it slightly. I saw on Weibo that they filmed other storylines from the novel but it didn't make the cut into the final drama. (Acceptable since it would feel slightly abrupt if those storylines from the novel were added to the drama) but I do wish they had a longer scene of WuYan saying goodbye to her friend that passed away and explain a little more about her overcoming that mental hurdle. That 10sec scene of her friend just saying goodbye makes me feel like they just cut the entire scene out. Honestly, maybe it's just my extreme love for the drama, but I think 1-2 more episodes would be great. Just to explain more about her mental state, and scenes through her pregnancy and sweet marriage (I'm being greedy ahaha).
