as a foreigner, we rarely see chinese dramas with this type of story... we just get idol romance and some historics/wuxia

prob only way to pass the censors or they wake up from a dream from a car wreak

glad we are getting more serious type of modern shows (or is it that these shows existed but never bubble up to be notice by foreign viewers?)

imo, seems like they took the best parts of previous versions. F4 now at ep4 seems more like 2018 and the girls seem like the jpn version.

I would not be upset if it got a lower score. There was too much filler that messed up the pacing. As you said below, the score is fan and anti fans brigading the score which lead me to believe alot of the rating is not about the story.

Waaaay overrated at 8.8 currently.

Both were hired for their looks and to look cool. They are all in the same average or below average young idol stars. Sometime the director can make it work and sometime they can't. To say one is much better or much worst is dishonest

Both Arthur and Dylan are in that same "class" of actors.

Maybe we can hope that it wasn't release because they want to spread out teh JY remakes out, rather than it being "bad". Alot of people hated the last one, but i found it intresting that they did another take on the show. Though kinda weird to add so much comedy since there was lots of death

From the preview, PeiPei is a cult member too, she went from being a young servant in the Liu's to an "Hostess" in a brothel.

LBQ was adopted and raised by WY, hence he was upset at 1) adopting the wrong kid 2) teaching the kid wrong. LBQ could of been inserted into the interior service for that exact reason since a kid but control by the clan

Unlikely peipei since she was a servant... for the others, they are missing each other at most 5 years... no way both party would not recognize each other if it was only years.
