I think the writer try to make it as a life sacrifice , like if this was an action show. But this is modern times, people can easily video conference and fly around (pre-covid). There are no climatic endings to most romantic/comedy so I don't know how shows can approach with a better ending than marriage

Some super fans likely brigade at 10 in the begining. As with most Cdrama, the first half is usually really enjoyable and then it starts to drag especially if the series is too long.

I am half way with both series. I thin the relationship seems more realistic/possible with gg2. I don't understand why people think that the GG1 leads need another series for their story. There is nothing else to say! Marriage, kids. house , divorce, death etc. The spark is gone after the 1st few years, the rest is the boring and mundane.
