@Nan That's your choice, and nobody has to support an actor they no longer trust. But the reasons you give are…
@Nan You don't have to support him, but your claims contradict official legal findings. (1) CONTRACT: She wasn't kicked out; her contract naturally expired after her 2022 DUI. (2) FINANCES: The agency paid her penalty fees upfront as an interest-free loan. (3) "COWARD" STATEMENT: He only called himself a coward for initially hiding their past, adult relationship to protect his film crew. He never admitted to grooming. (4) EVIDENCE: South Korean police officially confirmed that the text messages and audio files alleging extortion and grooming were AI-generated fabrications. The YouTuber who made them has been arrested. The "data" was legally proven to be a hoax.

It's honestly not that great. I'm not saying this to be a hater because I'm actually enjoying this show. But the…
Honestly, don't let the 8.2 score scare you away! MDL ratings can be incredibly misleading because people vote based on trends, hype, or even just frustration with a single episode. At the end of the day, personal preference and how a drama makes you feel matter so much more than a collective number. If the plot premises and praise interest you, give it a shot—your own enjoyment is the only rating that actually counts!

Super Excited for all of them and yeah even if some are remakes from different countries whats the harm as long as its fun for me, half the battle is won with the fact that eastern dramas finish (mostly) and western ones get cancelled and yeah just wooo

Shoutout to the few people in these comments (like Translator, Jyte and Aberration) actually bringing some real nuance and logic to the discussion. The double standard is wild. When Western actors emaciate themselves, it’s 'masterclass acting,' but when an Asian actress does it, half the thread loses their minds calling her a liar, while the other half acts like her personal PR team. Both things can be true at the same time: she is a professional making a hardcore choice for her craft, AND the industry weight standards are toxic. It’s refreshing to see a few comments actually focusing on the systemic issues and the lack of support for actors, rather than just using her body as a battleground for internet arguments.

I really don't get what the producers could have done to make you guys happy? - Actress Park Ji-hyun dropped out of Flex X Cop Season 2 due to scheduling conflicts - you wanted them to change everyone else's schedule to fit hers if they even could? - Don't get me wrong I really will miss her in it but?

Honestly I like it irrespective of ratings. I like the ML/FL and actors portraying them. Does it cut out a lot from the books I guess going by what folks are saying but I suppose the scriptwriter needed to tighten it up to actually reach the end.

If you really care about ratings (I don't btw if I like it I like it and vice versa)

Douban 5.5
Guduo Popularity Index 7.61 (in the Top 5 as of 15th Aug)
MDL 8.8
WeTv/Tencent all I could find was 9.1

So there you go take your pick if you really need a stranger to tell you what you might or might not like its just easier to try it and see no? Otherwise have fun all

Loving LOTFG don't get the hate but haven't read the books because I mean its never going to be 1-1 so why bother? as In I might read it after but not before. Finishing up Wanted Detective soon, Immortal Ascension was painful more in that it was season 1 think I would have preferred to wait till season 2. Gonna try out Sword Rose sometime as well and only one not on my watchlist is This Thriving Land just not into that kinda genre

Every time this happens I can't help but wonder why it always needs to be so public. Does it make it easier to come to a resolution? I do not know the actress personally of course and as such I have no opinion either way simply because I prefer facts.

An age where social media rules is somewhat scary to be honest where peoples opinion is weaponised for one thing or another and we tend to say more when faceless at a keyboard. I just hope things become clearer and that everyone can find their way to move forward. Have a good day all.

On the length of the drama and the merits of it having a part 2 which I was not aware of. I really don't mind at the moment the story is well structured and told with some good general character development at least from the main leads if nothing else. Kdrama to me normally covers the say 16-24 episode per season format imo and that is perfectly fine in telling a self contained story. Having another 20 maybe might drag but it really depends on the story and acting.

As to changing the main female lead is that even possible? I mean there is something kind of different about the Mu-Deok character considering she still seems to be in that body and not kicked out like other folks who do the AOS.

I just wish they stop this rising trend of making kdramas longer with more seasons, when it's not needed. Most…
I tend to agree with you here but I honestly can't think of a Kdrama or Cdrama that was was cancelled before completing its plot, recast maybe due to scandals but not cancelled outright. Western shows are cancelled far more frequently imo
