If the scale allowed me to rate dramas in negative, I would. Worst drama ever. I swear. The protagonists were sooooo annoying and the fight scenes were horrible. My 10 year old nephew can do better fight scenes than that.
I understand that you wanted to portray the lead female as a fun bubbly girl but she just came out as plain annoying and silly. Girls are not like that (thankfully) and if they were, they would be admitted to mental asylums.
Oh wait. I am not even exaggerating. In one scene we see that Situ Feng's manager asks her to meet him. They were not close and it was there second meet probably. What Qing qing does is, she goes to meet him, sees him, jumps a bit for some reason and slaps him on the back. Who greets people like that? The best part about a good drama is being able to relate with the emotions of the characters.
The story was not bad but the execution was a disaster. There was nothing natural about the drama it was just a lot of F grade overacting.
I watched A love so beautiful and then this. My mood came crashing down so bad. Ughhh disappointed.

I am not a big fan of historical dramas but this one was a beauty. Anyone who watches this drama and doesn't love this needs to rewatch the drama.
Eugene Choi's character is so dreamy. I love men like him. He is decisive, knows what's wrong and right and looks so good!
And Kim Tae Ri is so amazing. I love her rebellious character.
I love how the drama is not overly tragic despite the ending where I bawled my eyes out. It has it's cute moments where you yourself can sense the romance brewing between Eugene Choi and Go Ae Shin. There are also funny bromance moments all of which balance the drama so well, it's amazing. The cinematography is so beautiful too.
The love story, I would say is hauntingly beautiful. You know the futility of their situation and can understand that a future where both of them are together is next to impossible. But even then you can't help but cheer and root for them.
I even loved the characters of Kudo Hina, Go Dong Mae and basically everyone else that there was in the drama.
This drama is just all kinds of amazing

Best freaking drama ever. Story on point. Well executed. I love the ost. The love story between Kang Mi Rae and Keong Suk was so adorable, I almost cried.
The characters were not annoying. Unlike most dramas, the damsel in distress did have a tongue and could speak for herself. The drama dealt well with mental health issues and also portrayed well the pressure of looking beautiful by the standards of the society.
It is an amazing drama with extremely cute casting and to those people who didn't like Cha Eun Woo's acting, please take a note that the character was MEANT to be aloof and different.
This drama was such a great watch, I don't understand why one won't like it.

This drama was really hyped about. I follow a number of kdrama pages on instagram and everyone seemed to talk of this drama. So when I found this drama on netflix, I gave it a go.
This drama didn't really deserve the hype that it got. I think the hype was only because of IU in the drama. IU was top notch. I loved the acting, loved the character that she was given and even loved the back story that her character was given. But just her was insufficient to maintain my interest in the show. I often found myself skipping bits of it. Only towards the end though; the beginning of the drama had me hitched.
My favourite part of the story was when they showed how Man wol and Chan sung had met 1300 years ago. I loved that bit. It was cute and adorable. Even Choi Seo Hee's back story was touching.
The drama was really good but it wasn't great.
