Shipping Englot but this show didn't do them justice
The series had great potential, but it's been constantly having more and more flaws with each ep.- TL:DR : cut scenes, cut stories, unmatching audio/vibe/FX, or fine details tune make cool moments feel a bit cringey.
so far counting for all the missed moments, it's been a let down on production part for me:
ep8 i witnessed some cringey moments ( all which could've been avoided with proper moment vibe setting with music and vfx).
Of course, taking in consideration all aspects they had to prepare for the show, it turns out ok,
but there are just more and more cuts in the story ( eg. the Grand finale is nowhere, their transition is skipped) plus the audio/video/key points rarely seem to match the vibe of the onscreen moment.
Maybe my OCD ruined the magic of this show, but they said good night and in the background, through the window the sun was shinning bright and high<-- fine details.
I adore and ship the girls and the crew's efforts are commendable , but i am sure, given the opportunity/time/resources this show could've gone bigger and better.
All in all i'm looking forward to see the finale, but also after the finale to find some good fan made edits, which i'm sure will raise the bar a bit on those rough edges.

Better than what i was expecting
The story revolves around the relationship dynamic between the mentors-mentorees but also other relationships ( love, obsession, colleagues and friends) while struggling to break the market sales and level up on the coorporation ladder.Compared to other business focued dramas, i liked that they didn't stahl it to one specific plot twist but always kept the story moving, leaving the audience questioning what the next steps will reveal, or how will it end.
after reading some comments and reviews when i was halfway through, they scared me about the ending.
fortunately it was just their oppinion, as i found the ending to be a full circle.
they didn't end the story with the usual girlie trends, but it was plenty to make it clear.
the story is not about romance only, more like balancing relationships and finding one's true focus and interest and the struggles and twists life throws at you.
Also, i am fan girling Lin Rui's mad skills! it's been years since i felt my heart skip a beat or grabbing the screen when seeing a show,
Amd last but not least, there were plenty of words of wisdom to be heard by anyone working in the sales field.
I recommend watching it and rewatching it for sure :)

the best part: the ost and the cast. the story reveals a great supernatural link between the 2 leads, while they grow from strangers to friends and lovers in such a smooth path that it just keeps your heart glued to the screen; and to make those special moments even more worth your while they added the beautiful songs to level up the sentiment. this is one of my favorites because of it's dreamy title and dreamy cast and ...well, you get my point.
could it have been better? sure, the story is rough on the edges in some parts, and it gets a bit slow paced in a some of the parts, but all in all, the mix came out nicely toned and felt, so i give it a full 10/10 also for it's re-watch material.
