How I Ended Up Here
It was during summer 2009? I found a website where every drama, every genre and every SEA/ASEAN countries in it. It was my/soju/ hahaha. That website was a life changer. I literally spend my 3 months of summer vacation binging dramas/movies( Don't worry I had other fun childhood memories too!). Probably the start of being a homebody and just literally an enthusiast drama watcher?. It was not healthy but look at me right now, I couldn't get out from this, can I. lol
You know, every dramas have its own life lessons or things you can take. For example, I always hold a quote from a Taiwanese drama called 'Smiling Pasta' year 2006, starring Nicholas Teo and Cyndi Wang which is "Just smile and there's nothing you can't overcome"
Or there's this one medical drama which I don't remember, but in that drama the doctors use medical terms to use as pickup line. I literally use it so I can make myself looks smart HAHA. It didn't work though.
Sometimes I would watch old dramas and then questioning myself, THE YOUNG ME LOVE THE MALE LEAD????? HOW????? & that's probably my taste in guys changes too. Like in a Korean drama 'My Girl' year 2005, starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Da Hae and Lee Jun Ki. Back then, I LOVE LEE JUNKI'S HAIR IN THAT DRAMA and then when I watch it again, I was like ???????????????????? WHAAAAAAT. HAHAHA
Now I'm in my mid 20s, my whole life pretty much of me watching dramas. It's my remedy, my stress releasor, my 'take my mind out from the reality' and my number one procrastinator activity.
Nowadays, I've only watch light hearted story plots, the not so much of drama going on but there's still drama but not that deep you know and I'm a sucker for family dramas/movies because I would CRY a river.
Thanks for reading, stay safe, stay healthy and keep binging.
