Right, Jiang Ji, is both ignorant and arrogant. There is nothing admirable about her except having a pretty face. She calls others filthy demons and murders them, just because they have different beliefs from her, and includes innocent people in the slaughter without a drop of conscience. She is not honest with herself about her values, because she has no values other than what she has been told to believe. She is brainwashed, just like any religious terrorist.

It was going so well, one of the best dramas of 2026 so far, but this ep 27 was the worst mess I've ever watched. It does not bode well for the future.

He and his kids were the most interesting villains so far, I would of loved to see more of them.

The storyline of A moment but Forever starts long before this drama and ends long after. The heroine of AMBF was a human cultivator who ascended to godhood a thousand years before, she comes back down to earth some centuries after the events of this story and meets the hero of AMBF, who is an immortal of the fox clan. Because both are so long lived there are events shown that span the entire timeline, but the majority of the story happens after.

Shallow and arrogant, she believes she is better than everyone. She is the one female character i dislike in this drama.

A sheng was great these last few episodes(23-24) First she was so badass and vicious against her father, then it was so amusing to see the other side of her with Xin Mei, pretending to be pathetic and weak. Her actions with Lu reminds me of child when they meet mom's new boyfriend and don't want a stepdad 😂 I hope she and Jin Lun have a good ending. Does anyone know what happens to them in the novel?

Her character is not that hard to figure out. It's been voiced and shown continually. She has immense talent as a cultivator, but she can't stand injustice, even though she sees it everywhere, but sects are not supposed to intervene in mortal affairs so she tries to stay neutral.

When she can't stand it anymore she goes wild like she did for Lu. Then her cultivation falls, as the court official for the emperor mentioned in medicine valley this is probably based on belief and a self fulfilling prophecy, since he has seen cultivators use their influence with no ill effects. She has reached a high level and fallen three times when others wouldn't be capable of doing so once. She doesn't see this as a strength, she just thinks this makes her a bad cultivator and ill suited for the role.

Because the heavens ladder is broken no one can ascend to immortality and godhood like wusheng did, so she is becoming more and more disillusioned with cultivating at all, if they can't ascend and can't help humans then what is the point?

More than other dramas, they give a realistic look at what a world of immortal cultivators would look like. Things like that a sure too happen in such a world. I was shocked to find out that xia xian zi is the SFL's father, I really want to see their confrontation.

Viewers need to understand that though some actors are more talented and experienced, they all perform according to the director's vision. A good director can bring a magnificent performance out of a less experienced actor and bad director a lackluster performance from a talented actor.

It was explained early that the deliverance sword was made Simu's aunt who was a member of the starhaven sect. The starhaven sect duty is to keep an eye on misbehaving spirits ithe mortal world. Her aunt also made a prophecy that the bearer of the sword would be able to share senses with Simu. It was probably made to find Simu's destined one.
