I am greatly bothered by something in the third story of the trilogy. Nobody seems to remember that early on Suea is forced by his father and brother to shoot a man in cold blood because the man owes the scum fucking loan shark mafia money. He feels guilty for five minutes and then the whole thing is dropped like it never happened. Now it ends with Singha being made the new crime boss after Daddy dies. And Seua will be his number two man. I am not a prude by any stretch of the imagination but since when does the mafia get ro just roll along without any incriminations? Suea and Nao go skipping down the road happily ever after and all’s right with the underworld? Yes, this year’s trilogy was given a much needed more adult treatment. But to let thugs and murderers go on their merry way seems very wrong to me. If you want to REALLY overthink it what the hell kind of life is Nao in for? Like Dan and his mother won’t be affected at some point? Please don’t say how Thai series are mostly geared towards teenage girls. If teenage girls are into this kind if stuff they got what they wanted with this one. This part of the series was ill conceived and totally unnecessary.
I agree with you about the sound effects. They are ridiculous and too many series are employing them like they are fucking cartoons. Considering the young age of the main cast they really have great comedic timing and delivery. I found myself laughing out loud in several places. Everywhere I have read other than MyDramaList the episode number is listed as ten. I tend to think ten is correct because if you really watch episode one you can see there is no way they can tell this story thoroughly and thoughtfully in only five episodes. Personally, I hope it IS ten because I have a feeling this is going to end up being a great story and I would like to see it take a full course of ten episodes. So…to the producers…1>>PLEASE ditch the stupid sound effects. They are annoying at best. And 2>>these actors are showing a lot of potential for their young age. They can be funny AND serious without the effects. Best of luck with the reaction of viewers everywhere. I really think you have a winning series here.💖💖

You’re absolutely right. I watched only because of Boss and Noeul. They are usually in a dark themed series and this batshit-crazy series is a total opposite……….and a GREAT surprise. Even the supporting cast is nuts and wonderful!! You get to see a whole other side of these guys and they get to show how they have grown into very versatile actors. I am sorry that it is not being shown on a wider platform. HOWEVER, even though I’m not supposed to, I will say for international viewers, that you can watch on Dailymotion by using a VPN. There seems to be a trend lately for series not to be shown on a wider platform like GagaOOlala, Viki or iQIYI, Being a devoted BL fan I feel like I am being insulted. Having seen the first two stories of this second season trilogy, I have to say I love this concept of three separate stories with all of the characters appearing in such story in some capacity. It’s probably wishful thinking to want a third season later this year or early next year but I would welcome it. Many thanks to WeTV for this splendid series. 🙏🏼💖

There’s a level of experience and maturity in most of the Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean actors. I know that these kids put their all into what they are doing and good writing and directing is a must. In many cases today it looks like someone was standing outside a local high school and saying, “Psst, kid! You wanna be on TV?” I find myself dropping so many more than I did ten years ago but sometimes it’s just painful to watch. Again, it’s not the kids’ fault. The greedy‘adults’ making a quick buck off of them are the ones who should be held accountable. Next stop for me…….. “What Did You Eat Yesterday”.

Don’t forget that. for the most part, GMMTV series target audience is teenage girls. Japanese BLs are not so much fluff and juvenile. They are a pleasure to watch. As soon as I see a new Japaneee BL on the horizon I know I will watch it and most likely love it! Not to mention the hot, handsome actors……………

I agree. This was a joy to watch. I wish it had been longer and/or they had done a second season. Whwnever I get sick of watching the stuff that’s offered today I always return to this and other Japanese BLs from the past. Today (2/11/26) was at least the fourth or fifth time watching Old Fashion Cupcake.
