You’re absolutely right. I watched only because of Boss and Noeul. They are usually in a dark themed series and this batshit-crazy series is a total opposite……….and a GREAT surprise. Even the supporting cast is nuts and wonderful!! You get to see a whole other side of these guys and they get to show how they have grown into very versatile actors. I am sorry that it is not being shown on a wider platform. HOWEVER, even though I’m not supposed to, I will say for international viewers, that you can watch on Dailymotion by using a VPN. There seems to be a trend lately for series not to be shown on a wider platform like GagaOOlala, Viki or iQIYI, Being a devoted BL fan I feel like I am being insulted. Having seen the first two stories of this second season trilogy, I have to say I love this concept of three separate stories with all of the characters appearing in such story in some capacity. It’s probably wishful thinking to want a third season later this year or early next year but I would welcome it. Many thanks to WeTV for this splendid series. 🙏🏼💖

There’s a level of experience and maturity in most of the Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean actors. I know that these kids put their all into what they are doing and good writing and directing is a must. In many cases today it looks like someone was standing outside a local high school and saying, “Psst, kid! You wanna be on TV?” I find myself dropping so many more than I did ten years ago but sometimes it’s just painful to watch. Again, it’s not the kids’ fault. The greedy‘adults’ making a quick buck off of them are the ones who should be held accountable.

Don’t forget that. for the most part, GMMTV series target audience is teenage girls. Japanese BLs are not so much fluff and juvenile. They are a pleasure to watch. As soon as I see a new Japaneee BL on the horizon I know I will watch it and most likely love it! Not to mention the hot, handsome actors……………

I agree. This was a joy to watch. I wish it had been longer and/or they had done a second season. Whwnever I get sick of watching the stuff that’s offered today I always return to this and other Japanese BLs from the past. Today (2/11/26) was at least the fourth or fifth time watching Old Fashion Cupcake.

Ki was in Interminable. He was the 1915 version of Kan. very sexy and will hopefully be well received as time goes on.

Yes, killing off Don hardly seemed necessary. He could have survived and realized that Pond really was the one for him. This, coming on the heels of a Let Me Into Your Heart favorite character being killed off a few days earlier. You think this episode was a train wreck? The entire series is a train wreck.

Yes! Was killing off Theme really necessary? They could have just had him get wounded by that lowlife who, I HOPE, they will have him get his just rewards for murder!

Finally someone says something about Ja’s “acting” that I have been thinking for years. He is like a talking wooden mannequin and yet keeps getting cast in one series after the other. He must have some serious connections within the industry because he has not improved one bit going all the way back to Until We Meet Again in 2019. Yes, as you say, he has the looks and the body but that is where it ends. At this point I wish production companies would wake up and give more effort to actors like Tae and the rest of the cast and stop inflicting Ja on us year after year.
