haha SISTAR debuted in 2010 and already disbanded in 2017. Used to be a trainee in JYP along with the main lead (Lee Ahn) sk they know each other since very young. She is actually a veteran idol already LOL 9 years under her belt and won SBS best new actress in 2017. I don't feel like she has done a lot of surgeries? Like the normal amount for most idols.
I see from the comments some people think this show is going nowhere and has a very repetitive development with lots of recaps and the characters aren't using his power, etc. I actually think the very opposite? This show has been having a very fast development, lots of background information giving out and honestly I really appreciate they took the time to develop why are the characters acting how they act.
If you skip this drama just because one or two people say so, I do hope you can keep on watching and see it for yourself. I have been watching Kdramas and lots of other dramas in the world more than a decade with at least 3-4 shows per season, of coz I wouldn't say this is the BEST drama out there, but it's been a great entertainment and there are lots of dramas that are actually SLOW and aren't going anywhere LOL
Honestly I can't even stand Voice when everyone is saying so many good things about it so is Tunnel (the drama) and The Guest, like these dramas are good too but there are still things I can't stand. This drama has been one of the better ones so far.
Actually I really expected it to be cringy and awkward but the story itself was A LOT better than what I thought it would be LOL Also for Jinyoung, I know he can act pretty well but I have never seen him in a 16 ep drama, especially he had acted on a lot more "darker" characters, not sure if he will be natural when acting this kind of silly characters, but I am actually really surprised.
He did so much better than I thought he would be LOL He seems pretty natural and a lot of the times I found him catching the emotion very accurately - the way he acted gave a very silly character more depth and I find his facial expression refreshing. Of course he is still a very new actor, and not much to develop so far so he has been doing a great job at this particular character so far!
I am very strict viewer when it comes to idol acting, especially I like him as an idol, that makes me even more strict in judging cos I know him so well and I want to be as objective as possible. But for ep 1-2, I don't think he has given me any of an "idol-acting" feel tho?
I just hope the writer don't screw up lol Please keep it good!
