This is an excellent drama. Little or no romance. Just the caring for one another. However, you need to closely…
Idk what that other person is saying. Yes, there is a time loop, but the way the story is told, it's easy to follow and understand. As for romance, it's not the main focus and probably won't be but the leads are really cute together, have great chemistry and the ML lowkey gets jealous when the FL talks to another boy so... πŸ˜„ Anyways, this drama is easy to watch and understand, plus it's really good and exciting... Once you start watching, you can't stop πŸ˜‚

I would recommend trying the JP version. it was amazing :)
That's exactly what I said in my review! Yup, the JP version's story is angsty and melodramatic, for sure, but it's not the over the top at all and the acting is great :)

Title I'm Sorry, I Love You Spoiler
On Viki
tip: there's this site called GoPlay where you can watch content from Viki, VIU, KOCOWA, and iQiyi for free, without any awful ads and low video quality. dramacool and kissasian are very scummy sites for many reasons while GoPlay admins pay the legal platforms, so that's another reason to use it instead.

From all the comment below. Don’t think I want to watch 16 episodes of sadness. I am going to watch the Chinese…
Watch the JP version instead - short (10 episodes that are 45-60 mins), with great acting, story, romance and way less angsty

Absolutely amazing, and reminded me a lot of Nagareboshi. Great acting, especially by Nagase Tomoya and Yoshioka Riho, who also had a lot of chemistry. Really well written story that kept me pressing "next episode" (I finished this in a couple of days despite school!) What I like about Jdramas, compared to kdramas, is that no matter how angsty and melodramatic their plot, they're never over the top, keep you emotionally engaged and rooting for the characters. 9.5/10 from me.

While non-stop binging of jdramas has made me recognize phrases and words here and there, I don't think I'm at that stage of Japanese fluency rn πŸ˜…

I mean, perhaps there are differences due to local conditions, but the "law" enforcement services of all authoritarian regimes differ only on the lines of severity and methods.

I feel like the Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongolians, and even Han Chinese who live under constant scrutiny and brutality would disagree with the PRC not being a police state. And I come from a country where the police are just bad as the US ones, if not worse, as do other people. This might sound shocking but more than one thing can be Bad, actually.

I'm not sure saying the police are, in fact, quite bad all over the world is normalizing the oppression of authoritarian states but ok. And if you think China is not a police state then...
