Lmao but the beauty of jdramas is that they take kdramas and make them better than the original. I'm loving Shitteru Waifu, which was awesome and Kanokire is so much fun.
I don't know about this at all. Japanese dramas have their own humour and style of over-acting but that's mostly only in live action adaptations of manga or anime. Sometimes it works, like Horimiya or Nodame Cantabile, and sometimes it doesn't. But there are so many other dramas and movies from Japan that are super dark and completely serious with 'serious' acting, it's not fair or accurate to categorize them like that. If you don't know about them, just ask and someone will recommend them. For the record, I didn't like Vincenzo at all because it was such an odd mixture of multiple genres and the humour & acting is really cringey.
Ikr...this is like so good but because of the unavailability of the app in many counties, many people can't watch…
Well I hope it's popular with Japanese audiences. The most we can hope for is that enough overseas audiences use WeTV and convince them to add more Japanese content.
EP 4 was fun in jdrama terms but something was amiss that one can't help replaying the korean version of the same…
I didn't watch the original and usually jdrama remakes are better than the originals, so I am enjoying this drama. Also, if you like Koshiba Fuka, you should watch Chousoku Parahero Gandiin - she looks so gorgeous in it - and Parallel Tokyo, if you want something serious.
This drama was awesome, don't listen to the overly negative reviews and ratings. The production value and cinematography…
That twist came out of nowhere and genuinely caught me off guard.
Toru, Mika and Kanata are some of the most toxic people I've seen in dramaland, Good Lord, they deserve each other. Mika kicked off the plot, Toru facilitated it because of his indecisiveness and infidelity and Kanata blamed everything on her sister instead of herseld and her awful fiancee.
I'm just glad Hinata and Kouta had a happy ending. Kouta is such a nice person, he doesn't deserve any of these people...
This drama was awesome, don't listen to the overly negative reviews and ratings. The production value and cinematography were simply gorgeous... Every scene seemed like a painting from some cold, brutal, corporate dystopia; I also liked how the lighting changed in the past vs current scenes. The acting was uniformly great and the story did what it could in such a short runtime. I just wish this drama had more and longer episodes.
