This drama was so good, I'm thankful to the subber for making this available to us. The acting, the writing, the characters were all amazing, and there were so many pretty shots of the rural landscape. An amazing slice of life and it def sets the bar high for other medical dramas. 9/10 from me.
Ep. 4: wasn't that impressed with this episode, tbh. It was still good but I wasn't that emotionally involved (though the end made me tear up a little bit ofc), but that's probably bc Kurihara didn't have that much chemistry with the people at the new location.
Ep. 3: I thought Tozai and Kurihara were just flirting but man Tozai really loves him, huh? I'm not sure if she loves him as a friend or in a romantic sense, but that scene of her crying when he's about to leave Honjo Hospital was so moving. She sucks at goodbyes, huh?
Hmm.. somehow I have not enjoyed the last 2 episodes so much. I like the human elements they are presenting but…
Lowkey not liking these last few episodes but only bc of how much pain the characters are going thru and bc Kanae x Hibiki might not become a thing. It seems like Kurumi will miraculously survived and she & Hibiki somehow patch up
This drama is a mess. The writing is half baked and has more holes than an 18th century warship that got cannonaded, the chemistry is non-existent and the casting doesn't make sense. But for some reason, I'm still entertained by each episode??? Idek why?? Like I can't stop watching the trainwreck...
Anyways, I'm watching like 8 other jdramas so at least this and a cdrama are getting me to an even 10 on MDL's Currently Watching list.
Does anyone wonder at how entire families are willing to uproot their lives based on one relatives' say so in movies and dramas? Like, if my dad called me out of nowhere and told me that I have to abandon my entire life and flee to a diff country and the reason being some vague danger.... I would be a little bit reluctant and maybe ask a few questions!Like this guy's sister has friends and goes to uni in Korea... His mom has friends and family in Korea... And just based on some random woman's warnings they're willing to leave?
I think this might be my fav slice of life drama so far in my jdrama journey. Ep. 2 hit with the emotional impact…
Like, I actually burst into tears when Dr. Racoon comes to Dr. Fox's funeral. And Dr. Fox was such a lucky man to be loved by so many people, from the hospital staff to the people of the town... Both of them are such adorable old men too.
