i actually enjoy the flirts between ML and FL. They're are unintentionally flirtatious with each other and their moments together is exciting and sweet. I was also hesitant to watch at first knowing how old he is so i thought his FL would be too young for him. However, for some reason he looks a lot younger in here than he did in story of Minglan and some of his previous drama. I think maybe because he lost a lot of weight? Anyways, I was quite surprised when i saw him and he isnt acting as if he's in his 20s. You should give it a try.

whoever read the novel, is it a happy ending? will ML died from being sick?

did anyone important die in the drama? did their sifu survived or his wife? i have a feeling he is going to die.

It wasn’t an illusion that they were there? I don’t doubt they were there, but did he say they were all there together at the same time? Or there one after another?

Plus, it wouldn’t make any sense that he survived. Unless his master’s wife gave him sleep medicine and gave him all his power. In order to save him, it would have been one life for another which is why he didn’t accepted it in the beginning. Or let’s say she did extended his life by a couple of months by giving him some of her power so she wouldn’t lose all her power and die, but he’s not cured of the poison and is bound to die anyways.

Lolol look at us theorizing the ending haha. Either ways, great movie, but sad ending for me.

But he wasn’t facing them when he smiles. He was smiling facing the ocean. To me that’s like him smiling accepting he’s going to die soon and be at peace with it knowing he can leave this world behind without worrying.

Yes she act very well in this drama. I would say she is the best actress in this drama. Her evil laugh is so convincing and she really seem like a crazy person who is obsessed with love.

After watching the endings, all I see is they went to the beach and look for him, but what they see is an image or memories of ML used to be there. As you can see, ML look at the beach and smile peacefully. He was facing the water which could indicate it was pass memories vs facing the sand which would have indicated he was looking at the other 2nd and 3rd ML. Also, there was no timeline indicated in there so that could mean if they did find him, it could just have been days after so he still could have died. Lol I don’t know, I don’t have hopes ML have survived, but either ways it’s a good drama. He’s at peace.

I don’t see how it’s an OE or even a happy ending. The doctor said he was dx with less than a month left and also it shows he was spitting out blood on the boat. All this indicates that ML died, there’s no hints of hope anywhere at the end. Such a sad ending.

I remembered he said that with the master’s wife power, he was only able to use 2-3/10 of his power.

I’m saying, no matter if he’s skillful or not, 2-3/10 of your power cannot beat his master’s 70 years of power on top of his senior brother’s power.

I like this drama a lot. Fighting scene at the end is cool, but so illogical. How does ML beat his senior brother when he has 2-3/10 of his power and his senior brother has all of their master’s power. Make no sense.

I have a theory that his senior brother is alive. Let me know if this is true.

Is there a happy ending for ML? Does he get his power back or at least healed from the poison?

Is the drama going to show all their 7 lives or mostly the first of their human life? I’m on episode 6 and it seems so boring because FL remember her past and constantly trying to break up with ML

I don’t know why people would like to stick to the novel. The novel already exist so if they want the novel ending then people should just read the novel. How many people never read the novel before watching this drama? I know I haven’t. Honestly, I don’t see how the novel can be great when 2ML who is supposedly end up with the FL has such a fail personality. I understand being nice, but god he’s being walked all over. This is what I find stupid in supporting characters and doesn’t expect a ML to have.

They better and develops 2ML a whole lot for him to match FL. I know there are dramas where people would want FL to like someone else, but man Jing is so far behind XL in term of he can do or is willing to do for her or any other ML is willing to do for her.

I’m debating to drop this drama all together just because I know FL will end up with Jing.

After watching 2/3 of the drama and spoilers from YouTube, and knowing 2nd season is in the making, I really hope they change the ending of this drama compare to the novel and have FL end up with XL. He has done so much for her and protecting her. I felt like out of all the MLs, he’s the only one who really actually protect her whereas the other ones need her protection or doesn’t do much for her. Out of all the MLs, I dislike 2ML the most. Yes he’s “smart” but his personality is so weak. Say it how you will that he’s a harmonious person, but his family is his downfall. All I see is him hurting FL and selfishly asking her to wait for him. The back and fort with their relationship is so tiring.

I hope the production team/producer or whoever it may be had the power to change the ending and have XL be the person FL ends up with.

How come FL can’t detect the love bug inside FFB? Also how can FFB be poisoned?
