yeah i agree with you. a happy ending is when both people are alive and together, going to have a life together to me. any other one are sad ending. i don't know why people say this is a happy ending. it's so misleading. i want to watch this video for Rosy Zhao after the romance of tiger and rose, but don't know if i should.

Anyone got a movie for me with a happy ending in ancient Chinese costume? i've already watch: eternal love, the eternal love 1 & 2, ashes of love, love and redemption, romance of tiger and roses, pillow book, fate and destiny, lost love in time, general and I, my heroic husband, JOL...LOL and a few other not so popular ones. i want another that i can watch

i don't see how the ending can be happy if he dies? i skipped to the end to see the ending and it seems like he's in a painting in which she somehow enters? they hugged and its ended. it's a terrible sad ending.

I like this much more than my heroic husband. My heroic husband is sort of like JOL except I think JOL character is smarter and the characters in JOL isn’t as naive as my heroic husband which makes the MLr seem smarter. Tiger and rose seems to have more romance than my heroic husband. The ML and FL does more things for one another or sacrifice for one another.

Binge watch this in 1 day without sleeping. Last episode I cried so much. What other movies can anyone recommend me that’s similar to this?

happy with open ended

I actually enjoy the second lead couple better than the main leads. I enjoy them together better. Main leads have no chemistry what so ever.

Is this movie literally copy the theme of Joy of Life? It’s so weird to see the brother and sis marry each other in this movie. I think I would enjoy this more if Zhang Ruo Yun is the ML. The beginning was weird. Is it necessary to have the main lead to back into the future and change his look?

Can someone explain to me what happened in ep 26 when the king went back into the past? What the heck did he see? He saw the old king from 500 years ago jump into the lava. Why did the old king jump into the lava and whaf happened to the goddess after that? She jump in and died too?

I don’t think this movie will have a happy ending. Someone will die and they will either an open ended ending or a terrible ending.

What I don’t understand is that why did dongyue, after knowing that Xi is yuer, still wants to go back? They could have lived their life as dongyue and Yuer, he just have a scar face that’s all. Not a big deal. She stopped the war. What’s the point of going back in time again? Or is yuer only a spirit. If so, how did Yuer travel with her all those years?

at the beginning of the drama, the narrative or maybe it was her that said ML died and Lu Yuan Tang will rise, start a war to take over the country. when ML died in episode 22, she said she had failed to prevent the war. ML ended up dying anyways because she didn't trust him. So mission failed. her flute (magical power) send her back to the Lotus Pond where Cape Man send her back in time 2nd time so she can stop her stupid plan of trying to kill Lu Yuan Tang and let ML do what he has to do to stop Lu Tuan Tang from starting a war.

you know ML never said he was going to marry her. she decides to call herself the madam. he just give her a good life for saving his life. i dont know, if i were her i would have some dignity and be happy that the ML is making my life better and be happy for him and FL lead. there's no love between Li YuRou and ML. that relationship is an eyesore.

in the end of episode 1 and the begining of episode 2 he already knows she can tell the future because his friend died as she said he would. there's another time when ML told Daole that FL said he will die in 1 year and the rebellion will break out in 1 year. i forgot which episode.

I'm now on episode 18 and he still doesn't know she's from the future. He just know she's very special because he has the ability to heal herself.

im on episode 15, is Mr. Wen her father and the little girl she saw is her younger self? If it is, what happens to her younger self if she grows up? will she marry a different person then? LOL

at the end of each episodes, there is a trailer that shows the ML in a red wedding costume with a female. the female he's marrying look like Li YuRou and not FL. anyone knows if he has to marry Li YuRou for some political reasons?

I actually like the ML. I mean his family was murdered and he’s just trying find revenge for them. You can’t exactly win the bad guy if you’re not schemy yourself. Realistically someone who is super righteous and win doesn’t exist.
