My gripe with CZ is he can’t seem to take a hint! I don’t mind his political maneuvering because he is doing what he can to help his country in the circumstances he found himself in but he can see that HY and XJ like each other and he still follows after her and even told his mother that he will bring Hy to meet her! Dude take a hint!

In the first episode it is implied by HRF’s father that HY came into their family after he married her mother. So it does look like they are step siblings in the drama as opposed to cousins in the book. She was probably given the He name because they are higher in status

No HY and HRF are step siblings in the drama. There was discussion about it somewhere below. In the first episode her father implies that she came into their family when he married her mother so she is not He’s biological daughter and was just given their name
