I’ve had a lot of trauma in my family life but it doesn’t relate to me. I guess after watching 18 eps I’m struggling, I was hoping it was like 25 eps I don’t know how I’m meant to get to 32 tbh.
I am on around ep 11 right now. I don’t know after seeing trailers and mv on it I was super excited but the first half has left me feeling idk frustrated a little, idk why just has. Like they kiss and don’t mention it (just go back to normal). Apart from that idk I thought we’d get more lead up or meaningful scenes with ML and FL, depth to have me more invested. Also why do they all treat her like she is 2? I don’t get it really! Is the age gap that much?! Smh. Also, I’m not saying the lack chemistry but i don’t know something feels offish. I hope the other half of the series is better. Currently it’s on a 4/10. And I was really looking forward to watching this, I love the FL in all her shows.
I recently watched never ending summer and although the plot kinda disappeared and had holes aka reasons for break up I found the dept and development of couple better and more chemistry than this so far. Hoping it gets better I really do

I haven’t reached that part yet maybe then I’ll feel the same. I guess everyone has trauma but deals with it differently. ML character is very emotional and expressive with his feelings while FL is very non emotional and doesn’t express. I guess that’s the difference rather than it not affecting her she is just good at hiding it. Although like you I guess maybe I’ll be confused on why she does it

I noticed before watching many people hated the FL however, so far I understand and why she does what she does. She is only 18, lost her father, her granny soon to be dead too and her mother is trash. It must be hard. And I actually think she likes ML even now she just tries not to. (I get people don’t like her so I guess I’ll see how I feel going forward).
ML I like him however, having lost someone to suicide I see some of his grief and trauma I have dealt with in him. I like him however, he clearly has attachment issues and I understand he lost his mother. However, no one is perfect, neither ML or FL. I think he needs to deal with his trauma.
I guess I’ll see how I feel about them in the next half of the series.
I’m sorry but I watched all that for that ending??? What? Did it not do well? It feels like it was airing and ratings were bad and they just give a half ass ending.
In the novel the ML kms 10 years later. Instead of showing that, they left it open to say they married and then left to find peace together even if it wasn’t in this world. They found it together. I’m guessing if you take into consideration the they wrote letters to the parents maybe shows they decided to find out peace together. For anyone who has read the novel, this was definitely a better ending. Bittersweet but better.
I knew the ending due to the book.. I see they changed it to open it up to the idea they both went together which I like rather than one before the other. It was bittersweet but knowing they went together to find peace was the only peace you can find from it. Knowing the bitter truth that not all trauma can be overcome easily.

Sorry misread. The ML commits suicide after 10 yrs (he already has child with FL) they already hinted the ending will be sad so I’m guessing they will stick to the plot. Not sure I can deal with that kinda ending tbh.
