I just love how embarrassed they both are in the bts and yet that doesn't show in the drama. They are so professional.

I am so impressed with Zhao Lusi choice of a role like this. She is moving away from playing the typical young naive character to more fleshed out roles. This is the best decision for her career. This one move will add a few more years to the length of her career. Good decision by her and her management.

She studied at the Cordon Blue in Paris, so I don't know if her version would be sub par. We can just say we don't like her and anything she cooks is bound to be bad because we don't like her snobbish attitude.
It was hilarious watching her try to win him over with her food because she thought that would work. Its even funnier knowing that she has already lost and she doesn't even know it.

As someone who's watched the first 4 episodes, I'll be honest. I don't really feel the age difference. While its obvious the ML is more mature, at least more established in his career. The FL is definitely junior, but not young. Like, the relationship doesn't strike me as inappropriate or creepy for that matter.

Such an awesome story, FL in this is the strongest I have ever come across. Its more her story than anyone else's.

This is good in its own right minus a few issues closer to the end, the editing towards the end in particular.
It was probably in the L&R recommendation because the ML in this is very similar to Sifeng especially in his unconditional loyalty to the FL. The chemistry between the leads is really good.

-Frankly speaking nothing is on par with L&R. They raised the bar very high and I haven't watched a show that is its equal.
