This drama was the first Japanese drama I've ever watched and it moved me to watch several more after. I watched again recently (two years after the first time) and I can proudly say this is one of my favorites. I love every single character, they are all very important to the story and also they are so amazing that I think I could watch an entire movie about each of them. The romance convey here is amazing, beyond good, it made me cry every single time. Furthermore, sometimes it makes you want to hug or kiss someone, sometimes when the characters are courageous, it even makes you want to punch someone. All in all, great show, amazing characters, amazing music, definitely watch, I know I will watch it again several times more in the future.

Even though I liked this Drama and enjoyed every episode, I still think that Hana Yori Dango was too good to be true. For instance, the passion that characters tried to convey in this spin-off wasn't even close to Tsukushi and Tsukasa. The relationships are less explored and deep. Actors are good but they don't make you fall in love as much. I think Hana Nochi Hare is a nice drama to watch if you are deeply in love with Hana Yori Dango as it takes you back to that beautiful story and creates a world of its own. Overall, watch it but don't expect to be inspired.
