Yes Youku seemed to want to air modu asap probably one of the prominent reason being ccp meeting through out the march (they held one today)and probably they are in crisis for money😂 🤑 but again we will never know the truth just have to patient and be positive but still keep our expectations in check just in case y’know. But there is another melon going around apparently Youku sold Modu to overseas. honestly the melons about this series is all over the place in weibo

Tbh i am leaning towards the reason of halt being CCP meeting ( they held one today I think) and the fighting over the airing date of the episodes. These two reasons seems to be consistent at least but ofc take this with grain of salt 😅

Both are diff from what I read one is passing the censorship to be able broadcasted and another is from when you can start releasing the episodes. Like the date of airing. Here isthe think we really dont know anything if you think about it all are melons like they probably got permission last month and didn’t release because maybe they didn’t get release date from higher ups yet? And they couldn’t wait anymore so they released without permission?we can speculate a lot of things but we will never know the real truth . And Youku is recently in hot water with another of their straight drama being halted midway because they released the series without the consent of the producers. Its a mess

Yes, its done by a new company( though I could be wrong) but you should watch all the teasers they are so good and cute and feels like kpop mv teaser but also hints this one could be angsty and a little dark! I am sure once the full trailer comes out it will become more popular. March and April is jam packed with KBL

Exactly we have waited 2 years we can wait for a month or two more. We know chinese govt has extreme allergies for BL so its better to have low profile than getting banned again. I fear for the actors career too if Youku defies the the upper levels people order. And as I said before Youku should take this time to add accurate subtitles to the remaining episodes and they really should just dump all the episodes together. But i also get it why they want to release on batches because more money but for once I think they shouldn’t risk it and when time is right should just dump all the episodes

See y’all after CCP meeting month which will be from 5 - 15 of March but don’t expect Youku to immediately start releasing the episodes there is a high chance they will wait till at least till last week of March or April
