honestly, i think they did it deliberately. They knew that l Muslims would react strongly, it only amplifies the attention. Even Muslims who normally wouldn’t watch a K-drama will end up curious, wanting to see what caused such outrage. In the end, the controversy serves as free publicity, sparking even more interest and discussion than the show might have gotten on its own.
I couldn’t even get through the first 20 minutes. Something about the protagonist’s sheer naivety just made it hard to watch. It’s frustrating when a main character lacks basic awareness or common sense, and it completely killed my interest before the story even had a chance to pick up.
