Yeah but the questioning part is you get a pairing in a drama (as the overall here) say "I really like you" but the writers still won't have them say "I love you".
The reason I am saying that is because for those confession I felt like their love for each other can be put into the strong level of love so using xihuan is kinda downgrading their love is probably why I wish it was used differently to highlight it through the use of words as well when expressing their love for each other: ζ(ai) > εζ‘(xihuan)

So if looking at it in this perspective, to me, the YH now can live even when HPS is no longer in effect when TY is gone, is because of this Life-Exchange Spell, "to exchange his life to her, and die in her place instead". She gets a second to live a normal life - without needing HPS to preserve her life.

This is why that is one of my favourite scene in the drama in terms of top acting and quality for a touching moment.
I don't mind angst as long as it leads to a touching moment
