Despite the many good reviews on this drama, I felt that this is the most stressful and frustrating K-series I have ever watched. This drama sets such a high expectation for the viewers with the unique storyline but it fails to deliver what was expected of the drama.

In terms of the story writing, I felt that the foundation of the series as to why each character behaves in such a way does not justify their actions. This is probably due to the poor script writing which ends up ruining such a good series that could have been the best K-series if done right. The most frustrating thing about the show is probably the fact that the "genius" male lead isn't a genius at all. He made alot of mistakes that could have been well avoided. The show kinda felt like it was trying to achieve the level of money heist where the protagonist is well liked by the people despite the wrong doing but yet due to the conservative thinking, they decide to fall back to its safety net where the show served as a lesson for us to think about how each mistake leads to a dire consequence and there is no turning back.

Despite the poor writing, I must commend the actors and actresses for their emotional and impactful acting. Their character were however, difficult to relate to which results in a lot of conflict trying to understand how each character felt and why they make certain decision.

Regardless, I managed to finish the series as it kept me on the edge with every episode and made me continue watching as I had to find out what will happen next.

I waited 3months for all the episode to be out and binge watch it. I was having so much expectation for this drama since the trailer because it is not your typical high school romance. The content and storyline definitely seems more mature since it talks about cheating in a relationship which is pretty uncommon to see such drama in an Asian context. The songs used were probably my only favourite thing and the main lead.

The drama started off pretty interesting but it became very repetitive and very one sided. Ke Huan is always the one showing affection to Wei Wei while she remains unwavered. It lasted for more than half of the eps which I felt was a little too long and unnecessary. The foundation for Ke Huan falling in love with Wei Wei was also very weak and unrealistic. After all the repetitive scene, the writer seems to decide that they have ran out of how to continue the drama so they rushed through the ending. Everything was condensed into the last episode where Wei Wei decide to open up and accept Ke Huan and the Long awaited bed scene (which seems to lose my interest because it just felt so rushed). There was an unresolved problem in this drama where there was no explanation given about the abortion of the baby.

I hate it when dramas drag the front and rushed through the ending. They could have use more time at the back and showed us a little more about what happened afterwards. Also, I expected so much more romance but half of the time, i’m Just annoyed with Wei wei’s choice.

Overall, it is an highly anticipated drama but it failed to capture the heart of viewers because of the lack in development of the storyline and the characters.

I cried a bucket!

I initially though this was just a typical romance drama. But after watching the first episode. I realised it was about a real event that happened in Korea. Episode 1 was a little boring as I was still trying to grasp the story. I am so glad I decided to continue watching. The pace picked up and storyline got better with every episode.
I’m also glad that there were no unnecessary scene and it was well pace with 12 episode.

The last episode made me cry a bucket. I totally love how they slowly built up the emotion and the next thing I knew, I was crying a bucket. ???

This show also has the power to make you feel like you are part of the drama and that you could feel how the characters are feeling. Super amazing!

DEFINITELY WORTH A WATCH!!! I will definitely want to rewatch !

Simple yet fluttering

This drama really leaves my heart fluttering and skip a beat at those sweet moments between the main lead. Their chemistry is so good and their lines aren’t too cringey as well. I think Rainbow did a good job portraying Ding Xian - soft yet strong. Zhe yuan also did a good job in portraying Shi Yue - cold yet heartwarming and caring.
What really hits me was how realistic they have portrayed the Asian family culture - parents pressure on the child, parents deciding what the child can study and the arguments. They were all so relatable and not too over the top.

Overall, a really great drama where it brings back high school memories and where you wish those romance happens to you.

Too lengthy

Decided to watch this drama because of Yang Yang. The storyline was interesting and thanks to this show, I have a better insight of what a firefighter does besides saving the fire.

There were too many filler episodes in the middle around eps 15 - 22 with literally no progress at around. But nevertheless, the chemistry between both leads, the OST was what really capture my attention. The heartwrenching love story between both and how they fought hard just to be with each other is definitely a fantasy I can only dream about.

This show has taught me to cherish the people around me as you won't know if every meetup is going to be the last.
It has also taught me to enjoy the present and let go of the past for it is gone and will never be back.

If you are into evil mother who tries to break the couple up, give it a try at 2x speed.

Chemistry between leads are over the top

I remember watching the drama until episode 11 and got really bored. The front part of the story have lots of gaming and talks on aerospace which kinda bore me out. I decided to take a break from this drama and only came back to it a few weeks later. I started from where I left and surprisingly, the story got better.

The chemistry between Dilreba and Yang Yang in this drama is the best I have seen. Just their visuals alone is stunning enough to leave you in awe. The interactions between both felt so real I feel like I'm intruding on their privacy. The storyline was really good too. At least there were no breakups or miscommunication sort of things.

Definitely a must-watch if you enjoy romance drama! The OST is so good too! Only thing I don't really like is the colour grading for the drama. Felt a bit too bright? Idk how to describe.

A really good Taiwan drama that gets you really confused, frustrated at what is going on and at the same time, keeping you wanting for more. The drama was very well paced and even towards the last episode, it did not feel like a rushed ending at all.
Kudos to the writer and director who really thought through the whole process very thoroughly. Even from the first few episode, they actually already showed us the ending. Rather than most drama where they film from start to end, this drama can be seen where they filmed the ending and slowly move towards how it all started. A really interesting way and the ending kinda reminded me of how when we were in primary school, and our Chinese teacher always reminded us of how not to end our composition with, "It was all a dream." The ending of the drama felt like that to me!

STORY - An interesting concept and portrayal of 2 completely different personality and how they co-exist and how even though they look the same, the personality can be completely different. Thus attracting, different people. The way they portray Yuxuan/Yunru "trapped" in the house is also an interesting concept. The time travelling was however a little complicated as they transition from 1998 to 2003, 2010 without indicating the year. It kind of did not make sense at first, the time travelling. But I guess they did a good job with wrapping up the show and closing all our doubts.

ACTING - Excellent job to the 2 main leads who have to act 2 different character at once. However, they portrayed it really well and the chemistry between all the cast really was amazing.

SONG - I thought I will be really irritated with the Last Dance since it has been playing the same part constantly. To my surprise, I was super hooked onto that song and Xiang Jian Ni. It just kept replaying in my head even when I am not watching the drama! Now, its on my playlist!

Overall, a really good watch and worth the time! It makes you think about every little detail and when you look back at the show after you finish, you will realise that throughout the series, they actually dropped little hints here and there. Definitely going to rewatch it again someday or one day.

P.S. Don't forget to watch the additional scene on youtube! Just type, 想见你 彩蛋 !

Although there is 56 eps but each eps only have 30-45mins and I feel the drama is paced very well. Although some parts seem a little draggy but it definitely make up to why it happens. Finally a drama that doesn’t rush through its ending and I love how well it is to the ending. Although they didn’t really conclude if yu Yi and hui hui end up together.
The chemistry between the main leads are amazing!!!
Definitely worth watching!

I will say the style of filming, the kind of songs, they are pretty similar to One Spring Night.
I love how the leads are able to make my heart flutter all the time and makes me want to fall in love. There are quite a bit of scenes that are dragged for too long but I guess its just its way of making you feel a little more.
It can be a little draggy at some point of time and it was nice but I hate it so much when they don’t properly conclude a drama well. I feel that they could have spend a little more time into the ending.
