Can anyone pls give me the exact (or brief) time stamps of the nude/s*x scenes in this drama?
Thanks for the heads up. Just started episode 1 and watching with daughter. Did not read spoilers - expected violence but wasn’t aware of nude/x scenes.
Interesting observation noted in the following video! The way Yutu hugs and holds JingJing is so different from…
Keeping my fingers crossed while waiting for news of the reel couple becoming real couple. Apparently both of their fan clubs are in supportive and united mode to keep everything under wraps and low-key. Getting my fix from Glory couple’s Indonesian fans’ Instagram though don’t really understand sometimes. The zoomed in videos by eagle-eyed netizens and their analysis of signs/‘codes’ are quite convincing as there can’t possibly be that many coincidences. Never been so fixated on drama CP before...
I am not a fan of the FL- not because of likings only because I've seen to much of her. Unfortunately I can not…
That's a funny reason to dislike someone (whom you actually do not know personally). Would you dislike anyone you've seen too much of? Your partner, family, friends, colleagues/classmates, etc.. would fall into that category. Anyway, their couple interactions definitely seems more real than other modern dramas out there to the extent most viewers can't really differentiate between whether they're just doing their job professionally or really have something going on in real life, so you don't have to cheat yourself on whether or not they're real while watching.
Yes! I always find myself smiling also. I can't help but just feel all happy watching them interact. :D
Same here, kissing scenes or not, every time I see their couple interaction I'll be having a goofy smile on my face or laugh out loud - be it re-watching the drama episodes, BTS or anything with the both of them.
it definitely deserve more than that. finally it updated. the rating users and # of watchers haven't updated for…
YES!!!... such a pleasant surprise to see it jump from 8.8 to 9.0 overnight. Tencent views increase on average by 10M a day. Not sure if it will continue it's momentum.
I did not read the comic or know anything about the story - am also not much of a fan of historical dramas and…
Agree. Each viewer have different taste and therefore we may be focusing on different aspects of the drama/movie we watch. Its ok for us to share our views/thoughts/perspectives in a civil manner.
I think his character was the 'wishy-washy' kind which always don't end up getting the girl or outstanding in any way. Too much consideration for a lot of factors instead of going after what he believes to be most important. But I wouldn't say his character was irrelevant because we have many like that in our life as well (sometimes we are also like that) so having someone like that in a drama makes sense. Not everyone can be the hero all the time. He treated Leyan as sister means he does not have romantic feelings for her but as the three of them grew up close together (Changge, Leyan and him), he feels its his duty to protect her when Changge is unable or not there to do so even to the extent of saving her from a marriage to somewhere far away. But his efforts are usually not fruitful because the amount of effort one puts in when you put your whole life into it differs from when you do it because you feel it's your duty or expected of you.
Actually when he chase after Li Changge with Hao Du and shot the arrow I felt he was trying to protect her as well as protect his family but somehow it came across as Changge thinking he betrayed her and this was not really explained later. He shot the arrow because I think he expect her to still be able to escape and survive based on her skills (instead of being caught and sentenced to death or killed if caught by Hao Du). By shooting the arrow, he can also prove to Hao Du of his loyalty to the new emperor to ensure his family is not punished because they previously support the Crown Prince.
You know, I didn't know the story, never read the comic, so I went in with a blank slate but I could totally tell…
I did not read the comic or know anything about the story - am also not much of a fan of historical dramas and watch for enjoyment instead of nitpicking (I drop when I really cannot 'feel' anything when watching). However, I did read articles and comments criticising the drama which is not historically correct, miscast of lead actor/actress, etc... All the haters and anti-fans were hard at work to bring it down. My views differs greatly from yours because to me, for this drama, all the characters were a necessary part of the plot and the background of each character made me understand why they were how they were in the drama. The only redundant part is the secondary female lead. I don't understand why her part was required in the plot at all. I like this actress and enjoyed her silly and cute acting in fluffy romance drama but somehow her character in this drama seems unnecessary. Her journey of growth seems more unbelievable than Li Changge. She is so annoyingly naive, can't protect herself at all and yet creates countless situation that calls attention to herself that it's so unreal. Even without any help from the male characters in the drama, she manage to escape unscathed (I dislike rape/torture/violent scene but honestly, the situations she gets herself in does not seem real to escape without anyone's help every single time). Li Changge's character has always been stubborn and reckless as she associate herself more as a boy than a girl. Vengeful and tunnel-visioned? I do not get the vibe from this character. She thought the person she trusted the most and treated as a father (more than her own father) killed her mother - can you blame her for wanting revenge? That is the only motivation she has to continue living because she lost everything the day her mother died. Yet, she can forego personal revenge for the sake of nation when the situation calls for it. Some commented they expected strong female character yet she had to rely on the male lead to save her every time. They do not see the sacrifices each are willing to make for each other to ensure the other's safety. The situations she's in may be due to her reckless nature (she thinks she has nothing to lose) but she is good at strategizing and not giving up due to her stubborn nature. Her journey to personal growth was mainly triggered by her quest for revenge but the decisions she made along the way shows that in the end what matters is not herself but well-being of the country and its people. I'm truly sad this great drama has so little screen time for the main couple. Seems like more than half are taken up by the second female lead's story which I think should be better off on its own sequel.
Love o2o has stronger hype back in 2016-17. YY won a lot of awards and he also appeared in solo concerts or gala…
YY always gave me that impression (of what JJ said in Ep 28). He seems to be selective and the projects he took up is more of his personal preference rather than to cater to general public - seems to avoid idol romance dramas (none after Love O2O) which probably attracts way too many fanatic young female fans. But whenever he chose to appear, still does not fail to garner the attention from either China or internationally (same like Reba). Their endorsements alone should earn them quite a bit.
When a girl is too pretty to be real , it invites a lot of hate, jealousies n envy from women n men. Dilraba is…
Hahaha... now I know why the comment has been deleted. Luckily you put part of the comment in your reply cos I only remember it being too childish to respond to. I really dislike feeding trolls and the commenter seems to be one. Appreciate you making the effort with a great comeback.
I’m trying to understand what is the point of your comment. I feel like you’re trying to find others to validate…
The earlier comment has been deleted - possibly due to your sensible reply which cannot be refuted. we should just pin this reply of yours so that those who drops by to start another comment like this can get immediate reply to their nonsensical comment.
Yup, I too dropped this drama coz of the FL. But the other reason is it seems mainly to promote some bad and very…
I second this. Most can accept if the comment is based on her portrayal of character in the drama being discussed but comment on personal dislike for no valid reason should just be kept to yourself as it's your own personal preference. TBH, I also have a few actor/actress which I know are really great but I do not like watching because the first role they took on as villains left such a deep impact that I always associate them with that character or their on-screen character gives me the creeps. But that is my own personal problem and nothing to do with the character they play in another drama.

Will it get removed since they made it VIP again?
