I did not have high expectations for this series, but the first episode was actually really enjoyable! Art and Mikey are completely adorable, the pacing is good (I hate BLs where it takes 5 episodes for anything to happen), the music was good, it all gave me a musical theatre vibe (especially the over-acting, that is sooo musical theater). Obviously, there were parts where the quality wasn't as good (some of the acting is low quality), but it all worked for me. I grew up in the era of low-budget, queer short films, so I am happy to excuse some bad acting as long as the overall product works, and, to be honest, I just really liked this episode! I can't wait for ep2!
I honestly wanted to smack White too when he was justifying capitalism, I felt exactly like Gram lol
Seriously, your brother is a leader in an anarchist collective that is fighting against privilege and power and then you start apologizing for capitalism and don't think your friends are going to be suspicious??? C'mon, White!
The trailer was very well shot and produced, the cast are all cute, and have good chemistry, but the plot was all over the place! I hope it makes more sense in the actual series, but I will definitely be watching

I'm confused, are we supposed to think Theo might end up with one of the other guys? Akk drags him around, almost kisses him, etc... throughout the whole trailer. Unless the show is drastically different from the trailer, aren't they the leads???
Damn, this show has so much drama! I love it, all the backstabbing, the blackmailing, the hot guys, the hot girls, the outfits, the shade! I can't wait for the big reveal!!!
This was a great first episode. The quality of the cinematography is in the top 5% of BLs. I am so intrigued and I want more! It's rare to see a college BL so well done!
"Are they going to get in trouble with the government???"You know we have to get rid of those governments with…
I have no idea what you are talking about. What is the Covid scam? I fully support reforming all governments, but I don't what Covid scam you are talking about.
This is so fucking good! How enjoyable it is to have unique and fitting bgm and zero silly sound effects! My ears…
Yeah, I think they have used the same mansion for Don't Say No, Baker Boys, and probably like 3 others. I like that not everyone has to be rich, and I love the class consciousness of this series! I wish that that whole impersonation thing had been handled better. My best friend is a twin and it would take me like 2 seconds to realize that they were not in fact the same person, so...
I gotta be honest, the first few episodes didn't really do it for me. They had moments I enjoyed, but overall, it didn't all seem to fit together very well. But starting with this ep, it's making a lot more sense. I love this whole anarchist collective thing they have going on, although, I'm a little worried for GMMTV. Are they going to get in trouble with the government???
Still, the big issue for me is that it seems weird to me that no one has figured out that White is not Black. I feel like it would have made more sense if White had pretended to get beat up, at least then he could say he lost some memories or something and that would explain his weird behavior. Or maybe Black was a super enigmatic asshole, idk. But it's definitely getting better. I like the dark tone as well, although sometimes, the tones of the scenes don't connect very well. But overall, definitely much more interesting this ep than the previous ones.
Did I get this right? People are disappointed because of the fist bump, and wanted those two guys to kiss? Well,…
I am an out gay person, grown, living in the US and if a bunch of people made my boyfriend scream that he loved me in the middle of my university, I would slap all of them. There would be no kisses, there would be me slapping people, cursing people out, and running away to my apartment to hide in embarrassment. Some people just don't like public displays of affection. There is a big difference between pecking your bf/gf on the cheek as you say goodbye and a grand romantic display where you are the center of 20-30 (or more) people's attention.
This show is super fun! None of the plot threads make any particular sense, but everyone is cute, the acting is ok, and it all seems in good fun. I am enjoying this season even more than S1.
He could have just never said anything to White at all.
