know this isn’t the director’s fault but I just didn’t like how they ended the tincan storyline there (if you read the novel after that part they do end up back together). Also how there won’t be a season 2 because of managers and the author and issues. That really sucks but it isn’t the reason why my rating is a 9 it’s that because of the way the storylines are shown. You were only really introduced to Techno/Kengla story line in the last episode and plus it was rape. So I didn’t enjoy that.
But for the positive the chemistry between all the couples were amazing and you can definitely tell that they were excited and ready to play those roles. Especially Aepete and Tincan. I also love the relationship between Pond and Ae it’s really cute and honestly one of the truest friendships.

I absolutely love the chemistry between Timmy and Johnny they were able to pull off the characters and their feelings. The issue I have here is also in the novel which is the sexual assault scene. Yes they have grown from that but still that is very toxic and illegal. It isn’t something that should be taken lightly but again it’s a fanservice plotline. Though the ban on this show was upsetting and the fact that the actors aren’t allowed to be seen together. Very sad that China still has this issue.
