This is a great wholesome drama! I love this vibe- there's no miscommunication between the leads, no super horrible extra drama. I love seeing the lunch boxs and their progression together... don't watch this hungry! I'm surprised by everyone's age... I wouldn't have guessed he's in his late 30s here. He just looks So young. 😂

Its more common in jdramas! They are always aggressively upfront- even if I wouldn't personally think its an issue lol

Humm.... sure I enjoyed it but I feel lead on by all the intense interactions from the beginning. This ending just isn't it. I don't want to be left wifh 'oh I hope there's a special or season 2....' because there's NO actual ending here!!

Exactly! There's zero point other than to show he isn't sharing... he's super secret identity is also exposed at a mask party. It completely destroyed that plot 🤣

He hasn't been in love with her forever. The MLs backstory in underdeveloped tbh but he's devoted to his job and his protection of her. She's the one that developed a crush first. They don't really talk much about but thats why she wanted a normal high-school life to forgot her feels. He doesn't have a full range of emotions- so he doesn't know anything about hers or he's( which is why he asked her about it). He doesn't understand what change he's experiencing. Its not like he was being a creep grooming her or anything. Its more like a child taking care of another child- They grew up together

I'm not closed minded nor do I have a bias judgment. If you want children to act with adult men romantically then thats your problem.

Listen we don't need to play the Name game here- that isn't the issue we are talking about. I don't like a minor acting with a Grown ass man in a romantic role. As a whole they should be casting age correctly. They could have picked someone younger for the ML. It has nothing to do with their skills but for the limitations placed on the role now. He's supposed to be deeply in love with her for YEARS. Its a red flag

I agree with you- I am not a fan of this age gap... you shouldn't have to down play a romantic drama because the lead isn't in their 20s....

Respectful or not- I am not a fan of grown men acting with someone 10yrs younger than them especially when 17 is a high-school where I live. Its not their fault. I blame the casting.... a romantic pairing of a 17 with a 27? Awkward.

I believe the issue is the almost 10yr gap from 'season 1'. Its alot of backstory to retell.....its a very boring start which is unfortunate.

But I don't understand why fou4mod went from crying to kissing his bandmate/friend. A random fan would have been better...she looks like a fake friend that took advantage when somebody was down and then blamed him a month later. Why would his whole band abandon him over a post? Aren't they all supposed to be friends? Its not like they didn't know what happened.
