I hope they just recast his character instead of make a new love interest/lead for Yeonwoo to fall for (because the probe and mono thing wouldn't work) or removing the BL element and romance all together.

I think it's better to give up since either it will be heavily edited to remove most/all of the LGBTQ+ content or it will never see the light of day. It's really sad though because I was also looking forward to this :(

I think part of the reason they make it a drunk driver in a lot dramas is so that the audience, especially younger audience, is discouraged from drinking and driving because of the catastrophic repercussions it can have.

That is a possibility I hadn't considered, but I still think he won't act in a gay or bl dramas for a while either from a lack of projects he can/wants to be a part of or him not wanting to do it after the backlash and criticism he received

He might not do gay drama's right now because he might still have trauma(couldn't think of a better word) from his private dating life being exposed by an ex and being forced to come out and I think he got a lot of backlash which I think caused him not be be casted as a lead for a while . I hope he does get roles because he is such a good actor <3
