I don't often complain a lot about actors. I tend to find great acting but rarely bad acting. The only actor I saw really bad and banned is RoWon for his horrible performance in ExtraordinaryYou.

Star Jin has a fandom? How funny. Where is that? I'm not directing expert, but I just see something obvious here. It's even more easy do detect while watching some others dramas at the same time. LJS isn't perfect actor, there are a few things he does less well. But anyway, strong presence and charisma. He's quite good at high intensity emotional scenes too. For example we see that in "I hear your voice", or in episode 5 of W.

I even said I started the drama because I like the two main actors. But I didn't see something great from them. Nor they do bad. Just I think it comes from the story and directing, and they do what they can.
I like the actor, but I can't say I'm fan, as I don't have a fan mindset. Well, I say that, but about actress, I tend to watch all dramas of an actress I really like. But without compromising if the drama is bad.
If about visuals, you talk about some special scenes (like the water, end of episode 1), I'm ok.But if you speak…
It's awful. It's like during all the drama, there is a kind of soft filter removing any contrast. Then, no wonder why people complain about acting, because it removes a lot of actors expressions or the intensity of their faces.
If about visuals, you talk about some special scenes (like the water, end of episode 1), I'm ok. But if you speak about the directing as a whole, not. It's terrible and flat.

A lot of problems come from writing and directing. About directing: the image is always flat, not a lot of work on lights, shadows, colors. So it gums the acting. Just compare it with any other drama, for example "Marry my husband", that have a good directing about relief on faces. In some occasion, however, you have some relief, but rarely on main characters. You have a scene with suk-min (the vilain) when he laughs, in the psycho-killer lair.
When I said the acting sucks, I am talking about the leads, and don’t come at me with female lead 40 yrs experience…
I don't remember bad acting from Kim Yoo Jung in this. Else she has to do with the script. Look at the last scene of ep14, excellent performance from her.
I thanks the director (or more probably the writer) for the insert at end of episode 6, giving the date of airing of the songs. As I don't know BTS, it helped me a lot to understand what happens here.
+ rewatching, the scene is funny, they just have a light conversation like anyone could have, and aren't aware at first they say impossible things for the new time they live in.
If you want it to be exactly the same as the webtoon, it's better not to start. But this drama is so, so good
I'm not easy to satisfy, but I don't feel any boredom in this. It's fast paced. And very enjoyable to see actors doing the vilains roles. As a whole there is good acting.
the way drama took a different turn from the manga, I am not complaining... I love all the changes they brought…
I didn't read the manwha, but I see many good details in the writing. So, I think it's better to have a good screenwriter, able to ameliorate a content for a drama, than just stick to a manhwa not made for that. Plus, new ideas can make it better, as well as it removes junk.

Lee Jong Suk was lucky because he signed for other good writers. You can watch all the dramas he did with this writer: https://mydramalist.com/people/15970-park-hye-ryun

Not even the main actor too.

How this crazyness happened to you?
I'm a bit sad she becames nice, I prefered when she offered poison. ^^

The vilains are always nice to watch, annoying and manipulatives.
