A different tone than other dramas makes that highly enjoyable.

After a turning point (end of ep10, start of 11), things go back to the normal boring drama it is, without much more for two episodes, unless a few information about past, about the bad vilain is bad, and nothing happens, except trivial things without tension.

Historicals have background stories, or childhood, often at the beginning of the drama. But to my knowledge, FNOS was the first drama to dare something quite risky: put more than one hour of flashback in the middle of the drama (I don't remember which episode, should be 10). Any other dramas only had short flashbacks for that. It's the kind of trick you can't forget. Now, I can't be sure it's a copy-paste or not, because I'm not in My Demon writer mind. But as this drama is mostly copy-paste of a bit everything...

I was crazy harsh about this drama. But with time, I think it have great visuals and good comedy. But also, lot of problems. Sorry, I can't make a list here. But problems in dramas are a great help for me: it says what I have to avoid to do when writing a drama! It's why I watch twice dramas I don't like. I want to be sure to know why I don't like. And not doing this when I write.
