Don't care about the rating, this drama was underdog.
You'll get a prisoner girl situation and lot of tension.

There is nothing to fear. The original wattpad story is mostly chosen for the concept.
Then, what matters is what do the screenwriter from that.

I've read a fanfic on asianfanfic like that: the girl is a prisonner of the guy! She must obey at everything, it's a bit crazy dark romance, more violent than this drama. This weird love story is standing because the girl escape a previous situation with her ex-boyfriend who is really more evil. The fanfic had lot of success.

About main actress, I'm so happy to see her, she's pretty, talented.
I took mental notes of few scenes where, as you said, it could be better.
Maybe my general feeling is she's a bit in romcom mode, instead of full thriller mode.
